Not to change the subject ... But I will for just a second! Where can I get the black AW ICR123 16340 750 mah batts like came in the BB kit.

No worries on subject change! Everyone has questions..... I would also like to know where extra batteries can be purchased....

Keep the great info coming! Pretty soon we can make a directory of relevant info like they have in the reosmod forum.

Anyone here any updates from DD?

This be my first post in this BB thread.....BB is beautiful......on the cartomizer discussion just want to say I have been using Boge 3.0 ohm carto's for years now and my "sweet spot" is 5.0 volts (8.4 watts) for a Boge 3.0........

enjoy the BB and Boge's my friends......happy vaping....

Thanks for this. Much appreciated.

Hey all. Finally able to reply to this great thread. Can't wait for the official launch/ purchase of the billet box!!!!

Thanks to everyone for the feedback and reviews so far. Just a couple questions for those of you playing with your bb's....

1. How do the boge 510 compare to ikenvape platinum 510..... life span and flavor

2. Throat hit is not important to me so much.... I prefer lots of flavor and a nice smooth hit.... does the billet box allow for this with some tweaking of the right voltage and carto?

3. I like 100% vg. Its thick sometimes...... I have read that a 3-5% dilution with distilled water can make it perform like a 50/50 mix.....

I'm usually an rba/bottom feed guy.... haven't done carto/tank yet and just want to make sure that this will work for me!

Thanks everyone... have a splendid day.

I also use rebuildables for the most part. I don't think you can beat a Z-atty pro on a provari. Have a few other genesis style attys as well. Mrephunk is right, the flavor won't be the same. But same flavors will taste better in a carto tank in my opinion. I find fruit flavors tend to taste very artificial in a genesis, but they taste pretty good in tanks.

I never take my rebuildables to work, just too much hassle. There's always a chance of leaking when in my bag if not upright. A sharp jostle might make a make a short. I would and will always happily sacrifice a touch of flavor for a device I know can be beaten around in a bag. Sit in my pocket and not leak. Not have to be fiddles with. It's a trade off, but to me it's worth it.

Pretty sure we have at least one RBA "convert" (at least for mobile use) in the mix, hopefully they will chime in and let you know what they think.

Looks like there are a few of us RBA converts! I agree with Ian, to me, nothing beats a Provari/ZAP... at home. I've taken mine to work a couple times, and was always paranoid about the tank getting broken and leaky juice. I had settled on eGo's with Stardusts until I found the BB.

As far as the flavor, yes you will notice a difference. There is less flavor through a carto than an RBA. That's just how it is. BUT - there are some juices that taste great in a carto!

I use Boge SR (2.8 to 3 ohm) cartos that I punch with 2 holes, tightening the carto punch more or less depending on the juice I'll be using. I usually have my Provari set between 4.2 and 4.5, depending on juice, and I haven't decided how that translates to the BB's dial yet, although it's pretty much in the same range.

2434.......Must admit I have followed this thread from day 1 from the outside-looking-in......and continue to be amazed at the evolution of vaping gear over the past 2.5 years.....alot of mods have passed thru my hands, and have researched many-many more.... mechanical PV's, Variable Voltage PV's, Variable Wattage PV's, and etc.....there are alot of choices for us vapers..... I commend DD for bringing a very, very well designed Variable Voltage internal tank system utilizing "buck" voltage circuitry. The enclosure materials and design are just spot on....and from the pictures and video reviews I have seen the workmanship is excellent. It is easy to see why this "Billet Box" has been so well received.

I've jabbered enough so will stop for now....have a great evening all......

The one Billet Box up for auction at Vapefest.

Unfortunately, I don't think I won this.

The endless search continues...endlessly.

For those who want BB and didn't make it on the list relax a bit...DD will be making more but he is also setting up new machinery and locating help to build these faster. He worked his buns off getting the prepaid folks theirs, some had been waiting nearly 4 months. These are very labor intensive and I really hope DD is taking a well deserved break from these for a few days...has to be burnt out on making them right now.

Well said. I think sometimes we forget that when people genuinely care about their product.....it takes time...and love.... to produce. Im sure he must be worn out after the first wave.... he deserves some much needed rest. Hopefully when his new machine gets there he can catch a few extra Z's.... I wonder what he will name it?
