yeah, didnt remove my flange either and works like a friggin charm. took of a few mm's (like 2mm) off the top, just enough to fit in the box, coiled, filled...vape perfection.
Congrats!! My BB has been here since last weekend. My laser-cut boge's arrived today. Can't wait to get home and give it a shot!!!

Cool. I wanted to make one last comment on the laser cut boge's. It was just one bad carto in the bunch so far. I have tried some of the XL slotted, standard slotted and standard single hole (all SR). They are all vaping perfect. The slot really does put out some awesome vapor. So really loving these Boge's. Thanks for posting them Katdarling!
I took a couple of pics of the offending carto, taken apart. I use the flood and drain method of filling, so I was pretty darn sure it wasn't the fill technique. As you can see from the photos, there is no burned material, only a tiny area of darkness directly where the coil sits. From the close up view, you can see the coil crosses over itself and is pretty darn jumbled up. I gently removed it and had it been my removal, it would have spread it apart and not bunched it up. So I think this is why the carto was bad. Oxidation of the coil wires kept the ohm meter reading a value within reason. But once you punch the current to it, the crossed coils short out causing a really nasty burning of the juice. Anyway, just a theory.....but an attempt at explaining why we sometimes get bad cartos.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts/pictures on the bad cart. I might have run into that as well. I have heard that Sure Vapes *should* have their laser-slotted Boge's in stock around Tuesday. I want more clouds!! Love chasin' the clouds.

So, I just opened up my box of Laser punched Boge carts from Surevapes. Uh.... I don't think I need to elaborate as to what's wrong.. Let's say I'm slightly upset. I haven't used my BB YET (Have it over a week)!! Kinda bummed (I know it's not BB/Doug's fault)..
Sorry.. Just venting. Need to email Surevapes and send this back to them. I won't be dealing with that company again. Thankfully I found another vendor that carries the laser slotted and placed an order.. BB needs to be 'broken-in', ROFL..

I really must apologize to everyone. No one in all these many months complained of ill-feeding cartos, so I figured I was alone in the matter. I was just excited to find the laser slots and when they worked, I was thrilled.

Wow, that is messed up. I got a box of single laser hole punch from them that was fine. Obviously a manufacturer error. Man, could you get any worse luck than having it punched at the wrong end. Is the whole box like that? One last bit of bad news, there is a statement at the bottom of all the carto pages, no return, exchanges or refunds. But I should hope they would take exception in this case. Please let us know if they don't?

That link was shared with me. The OP didn't want to think they were spamming the forums, so they shared the link via PM. They are laser punched which I ordered (They were out of the slotted ones). Thank YOU for sharing us the links to them! It's just a manufacturing defect. It's going to happen.
-=J, Totally a manufacturer error. Sure Vapes is not at fault there. They have replied asking how many carts are like that. Thankfully just 1 is like it. I feel they will send me out another one with no issues. I know about the disclaimer. But, I feel they will make it right, so I'm very happy!
Soooo.. Are you ready for some more interesting news?!?! So, I loaded up a new cart (Laser Punched correctly), filled up the cart with my yummy Strawberry/Bananna. And, nada! Nothing! It doesn't fire! Soooo, I removed that cart, and tried another cart. I filled up the cart and tank up again. Screw it down nice and tight. Still nada!! I'm like WTH?!?!
I check the ohms on both carts. ~3.1 They are great! The positive posts are nice and centered. When I have the cart loaded, I check continuity making sure that the negative is making contact. It's making contact. I then take off the drip tip, and check to see if I'm getting *any* voltage when I fire it up (Positive lead down the cart. Nada!
I check the BB w/o the tank. It's firing the correct voltage. Not sure if it's pushing out the amps tho. I need to call BB and have them send me a replacement.. :'(
I'm starting to think it's not my destiny to own a BB.. :'(

Congrats on getting your BB!! Sorry about not having any cartos. Been down that road..
Soooo, Sure Vapes replied and they would send me out the 1 carto on a future order, which is going above and beyond, even with their no refunds/etc!! Truly great company to work with.
I called BB and left them a message. Doug called me back personally within minutes!!! We talked a bit, and did some troubleshooting. This BB has both of us stumped! I'm going to send it back so he can figure out what's going on, and he will send me a replacement asap! He is truly a great guy to work with!! Granted, I have had my BB for over a week, and still haven't been able to fire it (Not BB's fault there), I'm still pleased with the outcome.

That's just a slot that was cut in a Four-dimensional space.
It only looks like a punch 'cause we're in the Third dimension.
