Well, if it's a bit noisy to catch a vape, you can cover up the outside vents and it will draw air from the inside through those vents. Granted, it will reduce the amount you draw, but if you are sneaking in a drag somewhere, it works quite well.

I find it quite easy to change cartos. Heck a member has it down to where they can swap cartos when the tank is full!!

I really should make a video of the system I had down with my provari, an ibtanked tank and a super T velocity tip. Changing cartos was super fast and filling the tank was easy easy.

Not that it's hard with the billet box, but it does take me a lot more time.

Wish I could get more than a few days on a carto. But guess that is a preference thing as to how long you can stand it. My tolerance is low, so guess that is why the rebuildable route is for me.

FYI, the cartodriver we discussed earlier in this "One Billion" post thread; found a US source. Anyway, this tool allows a full tank to be changed out (easier than the carto push method..possibly). Personally, I find my O-Rings feel like they are glued to the old carto. I make sure they are wet with a little juice every time, but damn they are hard to move after a day or so in place. So really wish this cartodriver had a big mushroom cap on the end.

As long as your using non flanged cartos, why does the tank having a top and a bottom side matter? You can push them through from either end. I have a Loki tank that has a top and bottom, I just push out the old carto with the new one from the bottom. Same with billet box, but hard to get it started for me.

BEH! I can't create a poll. How long does your carto last before it starts to taste burnt?! So far, it's almost 2 weeks on this carto. Still tastes great, and I can get a great draw through it.

Not sure how you're managing such a long time. My cartos taste rank after 4-5 days or a couple of tankfuls.

For me, I am running the Boge laser-slotted carto. I'm running ~4.5volts. When the pluid gets to the TOP of the laser slot, I refill it. It will easily last me while I'm working (10-hour shift). I don't chain-vape, which might affect it as well. It cld be my pluid also. **Shrugs** Pineapple Upside Down Vape. Not a heavy pluid.

I know the cartos are disposable, but if I can get 2 weeks out of 1, I'm very happy!!!

I use Boge's that I punch myself. My juice is always 80/20 and very clear, I rarely ever see a hint of brown since I DIY it all. I'd never put Pluid in a carto though, that makes me happier on a genny, lol.

Right now, I'm at 4.65v (between 4.5 and 4.75, "floating" there) with a 3ohm carto. This one's barely had a full tank run through it and it's already tasting pretty bad after 4 days lol.

Hmmm... for 3.0 ohms I usually run 5.0 to 5.25, maybe tapering it down to 4.75 after the first few days to a week.

In my experience, running too low a voltage can lead to pockets of unvaporized but repeatedly heated liquid, which can contribute to both darkening and tasting bad.

Might be worth considering bumping your voltage up a notch to see what happens.

Yeah, I run the same voltage as Vapian. Never had an issue with the eJuice getting burnt looking. But cartos seem to loose their luster for me after a few days. The flavor just gets a little blah tasting and the draw gets tight. Most of my eJuices are DYI, 75/25 blend. Using SR laser slotted Boges.

It depends on the juice mostly. My issue isn't usually the carto tasting burnt, it's that the draw gets so stiff I have to change it before I throw it at the wall.

I really have the best results with NLV liquid. I can get at least a week out of a carto.

The "stuck carto" is the only drawback to getting more than a few days use out of one. The longer it stays in use, the harder it is to get out. I'm guessing it's from all the heating and cooling. I use 70% VG at around 5.25V on SR Boges I punch myself. 4-5 days tops before the flavor heads downhill.

Even without the tab on the bottom, you couldn't turn the task upside down. The holes aren't centered, and nothing would line up right.

Hell yeah and $6 standard shipping for a 1/4 oz piece of plastic. Not much cheaper, but faster then buying it from whatever country they originate.

Just FYI, the entire idea was to thread the top of the pusher (made of SS) to standard 510 thread male and the mushroom to 510 thread female. Push old carto through, then remove shroom head and thread onto new carto and push it back through. I also mentioned this idea to the guys at Loki vape products. Would be cool for someone to make it. Though it would be cost prohibitive milled from SS and all the threading. Oh well, nice thought anyway.

I'm good for about a week or so with a 50/50 mix, and i'm hovering around the 4.7-4-9 volts. I use either standard res Boges with the large holes, or the Ikenvape Platinum punch rev 2.

This mod is a must have, it really is. I'm just happy I've got two hands. One for my reo and the other for my billet box.

One last thing before I get off my soap box. I've read that people say, oh the battery size, it uses cartos. Well it uses both of those things really well. And I see it as a positive. It turns a humble boge carto into an awesome device. The voltage range is great. It doesn't need anything higher. Button placement is well suited for a left hand vape. I wouldn't trade this device for anything. I think the hype around this device is completely justified.

Yeah, I never really use anything but 50/50 in carto tanks as this ratio has always worked best for me.
