I'm getting it, too. For me, the oring is loose inside the carto or Diver. I think a slightly thicker o ring might solve it, but the only thicker one I have is too thick to see if that works.

Same deal here, tried a thicker one and ended up pulling out my entire RBA with the brass.....what a mess that was with a full tank! Since I am not using a carto, I rolled up some carto filler and placed in the top of my rba (homemade condor) and that really cut out the juice at the top and behind the tank. But crap I have to change that thing out every few days now (and loose a lot of juice to it). The sputter effect is what is happening. But I was getting that with either brass tops. Curious if the Diver v2 folks are having any of these issues?

I get a bit of juice in the brass top as well. The Diver v2 has a bell shape on the inside, unlike the v1 which had a conventional tube that was wide open, so I doubt this is from sputter, I suspect just vapor condensing as it passes through the brass nut and cools. it doesn't affect the vape for me, I just clean it along with everything else when the BB is due for a washing.

Yes, diver v2 as well...I intend to order a few orings that are a little thicker than what comes on it...haven't had the chance to as yet. I'm actually waiting for tanks to come back in stock at BB HQ, my diver v2 works fine in other tanks, but not in the BB tank. It has new orings in it, I think the red rubber gasket is kaput, even though the tank is only 3 months old; and yes, I snugged up those tiny hex screws.

What kind of juices are you guys using? Really thin juice? Maybe that has something to do with the pooling? When I first fully filled the unit, I had a lot of juice pooling in the back of it. I realized it was because I wasn't tightening the brass down enough. I don't tighten much now, just use fingernails to turn til I can't turn more, no tool, but it stopped leaking completely.

I just picked up some diver type rebuildable cartos in the Classies here. It looks like it uses resist/nonresist wires. Where are you guys buying those?

I picked mine up from stormy's vapor cellar. They have them in two or three different resistances. I also saw some on good ol' FastTech recently... You be the judge. I think there are some relatively reasonably priced welders out there, and I would love to get one, but the ready wire is so much more convenient. I am waiting for my BB approved v2... I can't wait!!!

It's all kinds of juices...it's condensation, and I don't think the new brass ring with the o-ring is sealing well.

When you say "diver type" it needs to be the diver v2, or it won't work...

It will work:). It comes with a carto tank, and is exactly the same diameter as a boge carto the entire length of the shaft. Here:

Here's just the head:

I would avoid the FastTech ready wires, I hear they have some black gunk or residue on the R wire which has to be torched off. Definitely go for the Stormy's ready wires, lots of people report they are great.

What resist are you guys liking best with the BB? The ready wires come in 1.2-2.8. Can the BB handle 1.2??

Go for the highest possible. 1.2 is too low for a BB. The higher the resistance, the higher the voltage you will use, the longer the batteries will last.

The recommended resistance for the BB is 3.0 ohms, so I would take the 2.8 ohm wires. I run my v2 Diver at around 2.7-2.9 ohms myself, with voltage set to 5.0 or 5.25.

Here's a chart that might help:

They're in stock at Avidvaper. Order now and you'll probably get yours sooner than I'll get mine : P

Make sure you get it in "billet box" trim. Correct me if I'm wrong... 35mm.. flangeless... either "style"
I ordered a diver from atmistique last week, but there was a mistake apparently made on their end when calculating the price. They emailed me saying I would need to send them an extra 3 euros. I didn't have time to deal with it right then and they cancelled my order and refunded my money the next day. Today I discovered they were in stock at avid vapor so I placed an order with them instead. It will be interesting to see if they arrive before yours.

To be honest, I'm a little skeptical about how well they work. I have gotten so spoiled by the flavor provided by my russian that the cartos in my BB just aren't doing it for me right now so I'm hoping to fix that situation with the diver. I sure hope it works because I'm hating the ugliness of my current setup and love the practicality of the BB.
