OMG~! Someone is seeing this for the first time??

An open post to all.
I suggest that this coming weekend that you all take Saturday off, get away from your computers, leave your smart phones, iPads, etc at home, and go see some movies at the theater.
Meanwhile I promise to guard the Billet Box website for everyone, and should any Billet Boxes become available, I promise to post that fact right here for all to see when they get home Saturday evening (after buying my very first Billet Box, first of course).
I've read that there are many great movies out right now, and I'm sure you can all use the change of scenery.
How's that sound? Pretty cool, huh?

So the folks at Atmistique just posted a picture on Facebook of a new device that will go into the BB (or any carto tank, of course). It's a device like the Diver, but instead of a rebuildable base, it uses Aspire BDC replaceable bases. They are testing them now. They tell me they are shocked at how good the vape is.
Doesn't that defeat the purpose if you are buying heads anyway? That is, you just buy cartos instead of the BDC

I suspect the vape is superior to a carto. I know the folks at Atmistique hate cartos, and a lot of RBA users also feel this way.
There was a review of a new device recently in an online vape magazine. The device is a mod and tank in one, and uses Kanger Protank heads. The reviewer hates Protanks, because they always gave him a foul taste. FWIW, I had the same experience. But in this new device, the Kanger Protank head did not give him this undesirable flavor at all. So he concluded the bad taste came from the tank itself somehow. I may actually pick one of those devices up, just because I am curious if I will have the same experience.
If this works the same way, the BDC head in a quality housing should be superior than a carto.
How Kata, how is it you suspect the vape to be superior to a carto (karto)? Isn't that a bit like pizza being superior to tacos? If the folks at Atmistique (who design and manufacture RBAs) hate cartos, AND a lot of RBA users also are feelin' the hate, does that mean that cartos are bad?
I do really appreciate the fact that we all like what we all like, but to say that what *I* like is inferior, welp, that's just A1 silly to me. If I could, I would ask OCD to step up and reveal his ever-increasing sales reports.

Well, I have about 70 BDC heads, since my favorite small tank is an Aspire ET-S BDC, and I use a Aspire BDC Glass Vivi Nova in my VTR, so I can tell you all about BDC heads. They aren't superior to cartos, they are just smaller and slightly different. Unfortunately, they aren't rebuildable, and cost more retail than cartos, and are probably harder to source (got all mine from a coop here). Bottom line is, they are very close to the same thing, as Kat pointed out, so not sure how changing the type will make much difference.
It is a challenge... but I still think for the BB, cartos are the easiest. I definitely have more BDC heads than I do cartos, but not sure I'm willing to pay for another unit just to use those heads tho...
And sorry, Kata, but I too reside in Kat-n-Glass camp on this one. Give a good old juice-soaked-carto any day of the week. Methinks me likes the taste of the filler. It's the only thing that makes sense to me.

I've seen some of the BDC heads rebuilt on you tube. I know that I'll be able to rebuild the Aspire Nautilus heads and that makes me happy. I'm just so tired of carto's. As for the BB, I just want one. Then I'd use the diver V2 in it.

I also approve of this message. None of my juices taste as good on anything else, as they do in a carto.
Well guess what folks, after six months (or so, maybe I am exaggerating) of me asking, we finally have a Billet Box group. Got my notification tonight! So you carto type can have your own threads and RBA folks can have our own threads. Guess that kind of states where I am camping! But we still fall under one big happy family BB group! Not long at all if you are among the lucky few sitting around midday Saturday and get your order through. And might I suggest a simple web page change tool such as WebMon or any of the others instead of the bleeding fingers f5 refresh button push.
