I tried 4 different brands of lr cartos. On lowest settings all burnt taste. Even fillerless ones.
SR cartos are recommended for the BB.
I have used LR cartos with success, though. Are you presoaking the cartos?
Mine all tasted burnt too til I dialed the voltage down to between 25 and 50 to the left of V. Above that, even when the carto didn't taste burnt, my juice was burning up and turning brown. At that setting, it was perfect for me

Ak said it best..... Are you pre-soaking? And by that I mean major big time waiting forever soaking? The filler HAS to be saturated on that first fill. Prime it correctly and it will serve you madly and endlessly. Give it time.

Oh yes. Squishy and ready. Billet on lowest setting. Would taste wonderful for one hit. Then yep to much voltage. Burnt. I started using sr after that. It's was a disappointment as I was used to fillerless cartos before. Which I can only find in lr. But I've adjusted.

I've used (and abused) the fillerless kartos. Yeah, no. Not fer me. I don't see the benefit and I don't get the taste. The idea may have been great, but in reality, for me they were a fail. As those on the Book of Face might say...... "Epic Fail".
I've never even heard of a fillerless carto. Isn't that what a clearo is?

Gotta love the billet box I'm getting mixed results with the diver v2 works brilliant sometimes not so good others but still better then cartos. Congrats to everyone who scored one yesterday. Google chrome works btw

Still waiting for my Billetbridges to arrive, USPS sucks more every day.
Come by the Diver thread if you are having issues in the BB, we've sorted them out for lots of people.
I've ordered the billetbridge but it's still in transit. I can post here with results once received. I'm still loving my dv2 in my BB and have not had any problems with it so far.

Thanks for your replies I'll go check out the diver thread now and I'll look forward to reading the billet bridge feedback once everyone receives them.
The dv2 is working good sometimes but after hours of working perfect then starts flooding very annoying but sure I'll find my answer there

Seriously though, I probably wouldn't be crazy about them either (given my preference for cartos), but I appreciate the knowledge.
