Welp. Never say never. I know that didn't work for me, in vape and in...

N

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh MY!! Now THIS is HUGE NEWS HERE!!!! Groundbreaking ... Earth shattering ... ASTOUNDING NEWS!!

And I HAVE TO HAVE one now! YEPPERS ... I just KNEW it!! And it shall be called "My Bridge of Madison County" ... Literally! The county (yeah I'm rural ... Boonies rural ... Is Madison County!) It was just meant to be! :D

Now off to get on that "Notify Me" list! :)

Now now niao.... I'm still conflicted. It's only Day 3, so the bloom is still on the coil, so to speak. I reserve the right to change my mind 27 times.

The Bridges of Atmistique County is the movie that took me over the edge with these things. I loved it when the B Bridge didn't slam the B Box door... ;)

All that said, yep, get one, ####offsping. I have a good feeling about this.

OK KAT.....this Aspire thing.....as one karto'er to another.....(you know I'm not into trying everything that comes down the pike).. how are you rating the Aspire as compared to the karto experience....(gonna look for an Aspire link while waiting for your expert opinion)..I too have a drawer full of Boge's..... :):)

HELLO ......KIDS

My ol' naked karto partner in crime....... I know you don't want or need every new vape toy that comes along, and altho I do like these, I'm hesitant. I truly am konflicted here, retird. How would I rate them? Hmmmm....

Let's just say that NiteLiteVapor's Line Rider went from a silent, electric Prius-esque train to a full blown Harley WOOO WOOO steam engine! Flavor is by FAR less muted, which in itself is driving me krazy. I LIKE filler.

Willow, the dark side has always appealed to me. I'm rather noctural as you might know. ;)

sgenn........ DO the diver. BE the diver! (oh wait... that was meant for DPL)
I refuse to let even more vape gear take my sanity and equilibrium from me. I have hu-mons who can do that. ;) *and they do it well.*

((HUGS!!!!)) :D

( Ya think us "Old Schoolers" are all gonna convert ... And go to the Dark Side? LOL! ;-) )
CONVERT ???? Probably not..... Add to menu?????..maybe...don't know..... Give one a try?????? Maybe.....

Kat & DP...wow...it must be really good...already put myself on the notify list. I had the Diver v2, and just tired of fiddling with it...just like a Genny...great vape, but too much trouble for me.

Kat, you may retain the title, since it was self given...but I will give you the additional title (as royalty oftentimes has) of the

Baroness Von BilletBridge

he-he...reserve not met on any listing...now closed....

As far as I know, retird, there are only 2 resistances on the Aspire coils... the 1.8Ω and the 2.1s. I'd think the 2.1s would be preferential for use with our adorbs B Box.

The one I'm using I BELIEVE is a 2.1Ω. They ARE marked, but I could not see the marking (inside of the tank). I took a magnifying glass to it, and I could see a long string of numbers. Looked a bit long to be a serial number, but welp, you know the Greeks! :D

Yes, the Nautilus does have its own proprietary heads. I have two of the original Aspire tanks from Nhaler (when they first hit the scene).

The coils are made in China! We wash our hands of this!

The side of the box should have a box checked next to the resistance.

On the Aspire coil, there are 2 strings along the length of the tube. One is some sort of serial number. On the opposite side are the resistance and the voltage range in parentheses.

On behalf of Ms. Darling, I must make a qualifying statement. She and I both agree that nobody should go out and order one a Bridge, strictly on our experiences. Please try it first, then if you like it, order one (or more).

Kata was kind enough to donate the Billet Bridge, plus five coils, to be sent around for testing. Since he was instrumental in bringing it to market, I'd like to help ensure that it gets as much as exposure as possible, After me, I know of the next two recipients. As it stands right now, we have enough coils to get it into two more hands, assuming none fail.

For the sake of expanding the possibilities with it, I will add some more coils, so the person I send it to will will receive a larger set. That will allow us to get it into even more hands.

If anyone is interested, I'd recommend sending Kata a PM, asking to be placed on the list. I've offered my assistance to him, should he need or want it.

Let's move this baby around for some decent exposure :D

OK, before I move onto doing my kids' taxes (procrastination, si!), here are my personal and final thoughts on the Billet Bridge subject.

1. I'm definitely getting better flavor from it, than I do from (even my favorite) cartos.

2. It allows me to lower the voltage too, thereby resulting in better battery life.

3. Throat hit is pretty much equal for me, when discounting the change in voltage. At equal voltages, the TH from the Bridge is stronger, which would be bothersome at the same setting. But since I don't leave them at the same voltage settings, that fact is academic. Point being, you should plan to "TURN IT DOWN!" (with all due respect to Joe's mother, whenever Frank Zappa stopped by the garage to visit and play).

4. ONE (potential) downside to the Bridge is that it's not really conducive for use in a no-hole tank (for those who prefer that option). The two piece design makes it difficult (but not impossible) to push down and fill, without separation of the two pieces. For most BB users though, I believe this is likely a non-issue.

5. For people like me ("Dexterity-challenged"), it might be an issue if one of the pieces falls freely into the tank. The video on Atmistique's site makes it look very easy to correct, but I've done damage to things in some of the most surprising and unexpected manners possible. Therefore, I do not yet know about that. And given my propensity for destruction, I'm not willing to test it with the only clear tank that I own. It's probably not a concern for most though, but I didn't want it to go unstated, just in case...

6. All-in-all, I'm very pleased with it. I will order one when they come back in stock.

The extra coils should be here by Tuesday or Wednesday, given the shipping prowess of the venerable Mr. Gormly (for those who know him). That will time nicely for me, and I will then move it on to Akdare, who will be followed by the lovely & talented "She-of-Many-Offspring".

That, of course, assumes that Ms. Kids doesn't actually purchase one first (not out-of-the-question, if they come back in stock). If so, Spot #3 will become Open (see Kata for spot-related details).

This closes the DPL/Billet Bridge portion of today's programming. Tune in next week when I will demonstrate how to break an anvil, with neither intention nor effort.

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Super review DP! Thank you!

Now here's my question! I think it was asked and answered by Mr. DD wayyyyyyyyyyy back in the beginning of the BB Land thread. Okie Dokie ... If I use a 2.1 to 2.2ish ohm coil (the Bridge) and turn the dial down to 4.0 V this results in vaping at a approximately 7 W. If I use a 2.8 to 3.0ish ohm coil (SR carto) and turn the dial up to 4.75 V this also results in vaping at approximately 7 W. Sooooooooooooo ... I know you and I tend to vape around the same wattage ... Are you actually seeing improved battery life using the Bridge and turning the dial down? If I remember right, Mr. DD said that optimal battery life was when a SR ohm carto (or coil) was used and the dial was around 4.75 V. Maybe I'm not remembering that right, but for some reason that little tidbit of info stuck in my head.

Just curious ...... Seems to me either way ... You're ending up at basically the same place ... Right? So battery life should be about the same I would think (???). Hmmmm ... Interesting ....

Ohhhhhhhh ... AND isn't the Aspire dual coil? (I just remembered that! Ugh!) Sooooooo wouldn't this use more battery life even with the BB dial turned down to the lowest 4.0 V?? One more question DP ( LOL! ;-) ) or anybody that has the Bridge ... Do you find that you're going thru the juice quicker with the dual coils? So now I'm thinking that this (the dual coils) also affects the wattage you end up at ... And maybe my above statement of arriving at basically the same place isn't true at all! Now I have confused myself ... And I'm editing ... And rambling ...

OK ... That's all my questions ... For now ... ;-)

Agreed, the modular design is the one possible drawback.

For refilling without the port, as long as you keep pressure on the bottom of the Bridge as you slide the setup out the bottom, it should stay together. Pressure applied by table or finger on the bottom + pressure applied by slap-yo-mama or similar device on top should hold it together.

If the tube falls into the tank, you can also use a pen (as in the video) in one end and a carto tool in the other. Use the pen to guide the tube onto the carto tool. Once the tube is on the carto tool, use the pen to push both out the other end. This way, o-rings won't get damaged.

4.0 volts at 2.2 ohm = 1.82 amps
4.75 volts at 3.0 ohm = 1.58 amps

Moral of story....slightly longer battery life at 4.75 volts with a 3 ohm coil....

hope this answers one of your quiztions....

Phwew. THANKS, RETIRD!!! That was much better than my response, which was, "Hummina-hummina-hummina..."

And girl (...kids), don't you EVER do that to me again! ;)
