Thank you Vapian. What an amazingly simple, but elegant solution for an interesting BB mod. I think it took me longer to find and remove all the carto silicone doodads then it took to put the modification together. So anyway, here is the BB with a Spheroid and with a Grail.

Of course the Spheroid external to the BB isn't very practical, but nice in a pinch.

The Grail is actually pretty cool on top of the BB.

Ok, wasn't going to wait and post this until I did even more testing, but figured others could help.

So, Kataphraktos and I were talking last night, trying to understand some issues that I am having with my BB and the Diver V2. We narrowed down possible culprits and one thing kept coming up, the same diver is working great in a standard carto tank. Only real difference is that fill ball valve. So basically we came up with putting a small square of electrical tape over the ball valve to seal it off. Not saying juice is leaking out of the valve, but rather messing with the tank vacuum by leaking in air. Anyway, since this is absolutely the simplest of things to test, I placed the tape on early this morning on the same tank / diver setup which was giving me more and more dry hit issues. Have not had a dry hit all day long. Personally I like the fill port (maybe a screw would work better), but sticking a piece of tape over it after filling is a non issue with me. So that is basically what I will continue to test and would be great if some others could try it too. Especially those with some issues. Not saying this will help if you coil has issues or not putting in the proper wicks, but for those who think it is nailed down, but still have some issues......please give it a try. Hell, if nothing else, stick that Diver in a grail and slap it on top of your BB.....hahaha.:D

Any who, drunk_j about your bb+diver issue I'm in the same boat. Seems like I can't build a decent coil to save my life anymore. And I haven't changed anything. I was used to letting a fresh wick and coil sit over night before I could chain vape it but anymore it's either dry hit after dry hit or flood city. And on top of that my bb started randomly firing until the batteries were removed. I took it apart and I don't see anything obvious so I sent bb an email tonight. Probably just a bum switch

Btw the dna 30 chip hits the cut outs bb milled for his button. Thought now would be a good time to check fitment

Seriously people.....tap.tap.tap....is this thing on? Everyone sleeping? I am gonna start flipping mods so we can get some action on this forum. ...haha! :p

DJ! Sorry, dude. I've been a little hectic this week, but I did bring a message from an old friend - someone who misses everyone here.

I am close to finishing my own box for the DNA 30. I would have to see the lcd and use power up/down buttons. Now what would be utterly over the top is if DD offered a replacement faceplate just for the DNA board.

Yeah, my Diver still flooding with about 1/4 tank. But the tape has seriously helped the dry hits. I don't understand why though. Seems like air in the tank would flood it and not make dry hits. Oh well....whatever works...I am good with.

Oh yeah...If you can solder, the BB board is simple to work on. Just stick a new switch yourself. I bet Mouser or Digikey has an exact replacement. ...or close enough.

Quick question everyone.

Do you have to sign for delivery of the BB? I can't remember.
You didn't in the past. But go to usps.com and put in your tracking. If the only option to the right is email notification, then you should be good. If you create an account, it will let you electronically sign online provided it isn't the restricted signature in which the driver must see your ID and watch you sign. But that is even more costly shipping and have only had those on rare occasion.

It's a Dec. 2013 rev-3. BB replied to my email already and asked me to call Doug. Man they are fast! I think I should talk to him before I go any further.

Just to be clear for anyone new reading this. I am not complaining about my Billet Box. This mod doesn't owe me anything. I mean you name it I've probable done it. Drops, kicks, leaks it's in rough shape! And has been trouble free until now.

Yeah Drunk, I heard about your project and can't wait for more details! I have been working something too. Not a device but something related. Been stuck on one component for ever but finally found something I'm happy with. Should be in at the end of the month.

Trust me, I know the BB folks are good people and will help you out. They have helped me on a couple of occasions. Even on weekends and late night if they are around. One of the biggest reasons I stay in this thread is knowing that and of course all you wonderful peeps in here.

I have direct experience with him and cannot express on this forum how I feel about him lol. But I'm talking more about the people that say how bad BB Is because they are never in stock. That doesn't even make sense. They aren't in stock because 1) they are new company 2) it's an amazing device. Not because they have terrible customer service smh

I can only agree with that! Anne and Doug and all the others are great people and in touch with their customers. Drunk, I tried that tape thing over the ball but it doesn't seem to work. My V2 will have a narrow air flow and then ploof, leeks like a broken water pipe. not loosing hope sure I'll find a solution out. But if you got one don't hesitate to shoot. Thank guys.

Search for my posts in the Diver thread. Is that with the v1 pin?

Yeah, the tape thing was just to help the dry hit thing.

Along with Kataphraktos ' suggestions, I can't stress enough about o-ring replacement and checking faceplate tightness.
