Ok, wasn't going to wait and post this until I did even more testing, but figured others could help.
So, Kataphraktos and I were talking last night, trying to understand some issues that I am having with my BB and the Diver V2. We narrowed down possible culprits and one thing kept coming up, the same diver is working great in a standard carto
tank. Only real difference is that fill ball valve. So basically we came up with putting a small square of electrical tape over the ball valve to seal it off. Not saying
juice is leaking out of the valve, but rather messing with the tank vacuum by leaking in air. Anyway, since this is absolutely the simplest of things to test, I placed the tape on early this morning on the same tank / diver setup which was giving me more and more dry hit issues. Have not had a dry hit all day long. Personally I like the fill port (maybe a screw would work better), but sticking a piece of tape over it after filling is a non issue with me. So that is basically what I will continue to test and would be great if some others could try it too. Especially those with some issues. Not saying this will help if you coil has issues or not putting in the proper wicks, but for those who think it is nailed down, but still have some issues......please give it a try. Hell, if nothing else, stick that Diver in a grail and slap it on top of your BB.....hahaha.
