Wait til I figure out a way to use vaping donuts in a Diver. I wonder if you could squeeze one into the ARO tube doohickey Dan is making, too. No idea what the vape is like, but sometimes, you do something just because.

It needs massive power. Hated mine until I hooked it up to the DNA30, then I think I blew it up as it doesn't work anymore (the donut).

Aren't they pretty low ohms on purpose? If so, the vape would be pretty terrible as you'd hit the amp limit of the BB and would only be able to push around 6 or 7 watts. Plus the long heatup time. The Donuts are mostly useable on either a mech or DNA30 device.

True, but the resistance on those donuts can deviate quite a bit from what I've read, I was hoping one of my 1.25-1.5 might be off spec enough. Or sever the NR legs, zap a single loop of R wire to each side, and zap the NR leads back onto the added R bits. I need projects until my DNA30 chips arrive!

You do need something to do for sure.....remember that book I mentioned.....hahahaha. Sorry, couldn't resist. Whatever you do, quit buying stuff and making me want to buy it. I think Amazon is going to send me Christmas cards this year. The UPS guy knows me by name, I am going to end up having to put him on my card list....argh!!!

Ah ok. I really thought they were all sub-ohm, which just wouldn't work in a BB well at all. Go for it though!

Speaking of DNA30.... I just received a Vaporshark DNA30 yesterday.... MAN this thing is awesome. I put on my Trident with a 0.43 Ohm build and blasted it at full 30 watts. Insane.

I haven't built up the nerve to go that high, er, or low yet. I did do 25 watts on a 1 ohm in a Kayfun......AWESOME!

I just got a Vaporshark as well, I love it. But the battery disappears in less than an hour at 0.6 ohms. And the right back to the Billet Box until it recharges...

That's pretty aggressive for a Kayfun, actually. Try building one of those drippers at 0.6 ohms and run it at 24-25 Watts. Sweet spot for me, mech or VW, for my Origen.

I would never use the juices I vape in my BB on that setup, I'd probably grow scales or something. *shudder*

I don't know if you're joking, about Amazon and the UPS guy, but I wouldn't be (joking) if I made the same statement. And he already gets a nice card & tip from me each year.

Disappears in WHAT????????????????????????

FuGGEDaboudit!

That's what drove me from the cigalikes, so many moons ago. I know, I know - it's the subohm thing. I don't care. I'm fine with what I'm vaping (not smoking) and am sticking to it.

Dual 18650's and a 3ohm carto, I'm vaping all day (sometimes plus). It works for me (along with some less-than-happy people. but I digress).

It has a 1200MaH LiPo, basically an 18500. I enjoy both, as I've discovered. Straight tobaccos and chocolates really shine at subohm and high power. Stuff like Banana Creme Pie, the flavor is neutralized, it's basically VG juice. Or worse.

That's why, with all the mods and attys going through the revolving door of my collection, BB + Diver will always remain.

And I'm a "do something just because" type, Kata. Ergo, I'm super interested in the donuts (and have been following them). I'm not sure if the large father has offered up the higher ohm-nuts yet, but I will be plucking a dozen when and if. They appear to be somewhat between tinker and p & p.

And hi, B Boxers and ettes.

You need a g/friend, deary.

You're more than welcome to vape along sitting next to me on THAT train, DPL. I'm still enjoying my super non-subohm kartos and batts that last a tad longer than an hour (who DOES that!).

He added stock last weekend, they are still available according to his site.

Well I had to play taps last night for my BB, the fire button remained on after I released it. Managed to remove the batteries while it was still firing. Reset the batteries and tried a lower voltage setting, same thing happened. Now It will not fire :(
Looks like the electronics board suffered a failure of some kind. Gonna have to send it back in unless I can get Matt to send me a new board.

Luck I got a backup BB :D

What version do you have? I just went through the same thing. My version 3 ghost fired due to juice being on the dry side and getting on the board. I took everything apart and washed the board with water then baked it in the oven at 170 for 45 min. As instructed by DD. Hope that helps

Thank you, Kata. I hadn't checked in a few days (pc probs). I wonder if he's planning on higher resistance coils...

Worth a shot :)
Will give it a go...
Thanks, oh it was a v2 I believe. Got it last May.
