Good news. I just rebuilt an Aspire head with a 10 wrap, 30g micro coil on a 5/64" bit and threaded some cotton through. The flavor is worlds better than the stock aspire head. I'm gonna rebuild a second to use with my second billet bridge. I'll take some pics and post them up.

I think that was a solid 30 minute run! AWESOME!

Spread the word that just a little patience will place them in the hands of all who want them. Let's help kick that secondary market into orbit.

Maybe some of the less-scrupulous (nobody WE know) might even get stuck with theirs. One (or many) can hope...
I got "stuck" with the piebald I scored last Saturday, but of course I intended to get stuck with it! I hope to get stuck with a couple of tanks next week.

Here we go

8 wraps on 5/64" for about 2.3 Ohms

Juice up the filler materials so they stay in place better.

Assemble with the bit in place to hold the coil. 5/64" fits snug in the grooves.

Cotton threaded thru.

Trimmed fairly close. Gently put the cap back on.

Put in tank, fill, and go.

I am going to have to revoke my suggestion of using eFest batteries. While they do give you a little more power capacity (about 100mah more), they are just too inconsistent on their protection circuits. Seems like there quality control is getting even worse now. The AW shuts down way more reliably. At least the eFest are on the conservative side and shut down at a lower current, but man that is annoying. So for me, the little extra capacity is no longer worth the aggravation of their continued QC issues. However, folks running a standard carto setup at 3 ohms, will probably never notice. Folks doing lower resistance coils are the one's who will notice as your BB cuts off mid vape.

So "ICR" AW 16340 batteries are all I can recommend right now. Wish there were more out there that quality.

You must have replied before checking you PM. Like Ragu, it's in there!

But will put it here again too. ICR=protected , IMR = unprotected

ICR is like a condom, protection on the outside. IMR is for use with birth control, when the protection is internal (at least you hope so, but still having to take someone else's word). Our BB is not on the pill! Sorry ladies, sometimes dudes need it related to sex so we understand it better, since we think about that every 7 seconds according to some studies.

Thanks for looking out for us BB rookies :)

I appreciate it

Any suggestions where to get from that's reliable ?

Cheers
