Oh.My.God. A bead blasted BB!? I really need to follow this thread more closely.

Edit: Nope anodized. But gorgeous all the same & I still need to follow this thread more closely.

I try to follow it and I still am always lost :(

I am still trying to figure out where to get the color BBs at :(

1. Mine do this too, seems normal. Do try to keep them in pairs though, I number mine so I keep them together.

2. I use Mother's Billet Metal Polish, just because I had some already (great for bike chrome!). Any mild polish should work, just check the label that it would be safe on aluminum.

3. Yup, it's to slow down the flippers. :glare:

1) I always label mine with dates. Guess I will have to label these with pair number and try to figure out which one gets the full discharge and make sure I rotate that as well. I think it's the bottom but not sure.

2) Did you apply the polish to the whole side? Or just the scratched area? I have some mothers mag polish label says its good for aluminum might give that a try. Do you use a Dremel or just hand polish?

3) I don't regret buying one from the last batch before they retooled! Waiting 7 weeks with a BB beats the heck out of waiting how ever long it would take to get one of these new ones!

Thanks agian!

The 'old' batch had more rough tooling marks on the inside cover... but I thought that was really charming. Course, I like the new one too:)! These didn't get so hot and desirable for no reason... they are just amazing, in all versions:).

I polished the whole outside, and just by hand and it looked great! I'm sure using a Dremel would look even better!

Anyone know of a source for 3.0 ohm Aspire BDC heads for the Billet Bridge? I've only been able to find 2.1 and 1.8 and the 2.1's just aren't cutting it...

I'm not sure there ever are such things. I looked everywhere too, and could only find 2.1's. I ordered my heads from Discount Vapers and my Bridge from Atmistique. I ordered the both Bridge and heads on a Saturday. The Bridge arrived on Tuesday, from Greece, while the heads arrived on Wednesday, from approximately 70 miles away.

Go figure.

If anyone DOES find 3.0 heads, please post them. I did get 3.0's for the Sabot though, since those ARE available (also found at DV).

Arrived today! All shiny newness fitted with Billet Bridge and some Peachy juice. Tis but a work of art, the vape is secondary on this one. May have been spoiled by my Reo's on the flavor front. Gives a drier vape though and look forward to yet another round of questions in astonishment from all the non vapers. Dedicated polishing cloth already allocated, I look at it and leave marks all over it. Awesome piece of kit!!!

Cigs not smoked- many thousands. Dollars spent vaping- many many thousands.......

On the Aspire website Aspire - Clearomizer BDC Series it says

Aspire BDC Series Replaceable Coils Available resistance: 1.6Ω(3.0-4.2V), 1.8Ω(3.0-5.0v), 2.1Ω(3.0-6.0v)

I checked The Vivi Nova, The Mini Nova, The ET, CE5-S, and The Maxi and they all say the same thing.

Aspire store coming soon. :)
