Sorry it took so long to get back on this ... After getting back from my first real vacation in years and spending a week with no schedule or agenda at all, coming back to having to Do All of The Things is killing me.
As others have now pointed out, ain't no wrap (though I do keep a clear wrap on it at all times). It is, as near as I know, only the second wood-sided BB made and the only one in the field. Wouldn't have it if it weren't for winning a contest with some superior (or at least sufficient) cyber-stalking skills.
In this case the wood is Box Elder and the button is (I think) unsealed abalone. The button could probably use a dollop of clear epoxy coat for a smoother feel but I'm in no rush.
In any case, I'm very, very lucky to have it and it's a great conversation starter, even among jaded vapers. I honestly can't think of anything I'd trade it for.
