A word about clear wraps tho? (And DPL will definitely back me up on this...) They aren't all that and a bag o' chips. They don't fit in the same way as the printed and they stretch out and are just a pita.
I was a tad worried about scratching my Scarlet (Firebald), but the anodization process seems to make them pretty damm durable. I wouldn't put it up against a bunch of the things that live in my tool box or even keys, but it doesn't really need the babying that the raw does.

And yep, Kat hit the nail on the head. The clear wrap was much more trouble than it was worth, besides - you don't want to mess up that thing. Wraps are for the raw ones but not the anodized. I got mine in June (thank you, KD) and it still looks EXACTLY as it did when it arrived.

Cool!. The raw one is all scratched up on the bottom just from sitting on the desk. I do wish that I had gotten a jwrap for it in the beginning. I saw on the FB group were dude polished his and it looks good. I need to do that to mine at some point but not that worried about it.
I polished mine once, just to see how it would come out. It was awesome!
It doesn't have anything more than microscopic marks, from daily use, and of course the bottom scratches.
So true that, the button is so pretty with the greens, purples, blues, & black. Love the way the colors change.
Oh and if your shipping is any indication of how easy you are on things.......well..........
That tip is called Ruby Glow and she is so pretty. The Red changes to a purple and magenta color depending on how the light hits it. I have a couple of trippy tips that really look good on this BB can't wait for the camera to charge so I can get better pic's to show off.

First off, thank you, J5. And for those who were following back then, J5 is the person who provided me with the modified IKV Fusion carto that (a) I raved so much about, and (b) seemed to last for about a month - maybe more. Never could figure that all out, but I digress.
Others tried and failed, including our own highly-respected Drunk_J, who is as good as they come (at least in my very biased opinion). For whatever reason, J5's got The Touch with these things, but there might be a reason for that. He is maybe the single best source for IKV-related information, outside of Isaac-The-Great himself.
Once again, he has found success with this carto after receiving a BEAUTIFUL new aqua BB from Isaac. It's his first BB so he now has his OWN reasons to play with the cartos, instead of just mine. And he's somehow pulled it off again. The fact that he cut another one up for me too makes me very happy.
But I really just wanted to point a finger in his direction, since it was pretty heavy talk there for awhile, before it was (sadly) determined that significant numbers of correctly-sized IKV's (for the BB) were unlikely. I believe this is still the case, but J5 deserved to be recognized as the architect behind that which I spoke of.
He's probably pretty ...... off at me for doing this, but our friendship will survive. Sorry, Stud - but you had it coming.

Thank you for the compliment DP. This carto still has the flange but it works great. All I did was slot it on both sides.
