hello guys. my billet box is currently on the way to me right now (eta is tomorrow).
i've been searching the internet and asking many shops in my country about the AW ICR123 batteries and all is out of stock.
i try checking other country vendors and its either too pricey or they do not ship outside of US.
some of the shops are suggesting me using other brands of protected batteries so my question is if im using different brand of rcr123 batteries (same size 16340 with 3.7v) will it effect the performance of the billet box?

Have you tried Lighthound or RTD Vapor they may be able to help you? Where are you located?

Greeting, "Don" Corleone. Does RTD Vapor not ship to Malaysia? They may not but I have to ask. They do have them in stock.

AW icr 123 16340 protected battery - RTD vapor

If the chemistry is the same I would expect others to work, but I'm far from a battery expert. If you have something specific in mind, it might help to post the details, so those who ARE in the know can answer you with more confidence than I can.

Congratulations on your new BB!

I lost one of the parts to my billet bridge.:( for the life of me I cannot figure out what happened to it. darn it all to heck anyway! super bummed...

Surely it was the little piece. I've been nervous about doing this myself and am always overly careful. It was either Peter_C or Tele67 who dropped theirs down the drain, but the lovely Bamrz came to their rescue (if I recall) and got an extra piece shipped from Atmistique.

I don't know if DD has any individual parts, but it might be worth the asking. Sorry for your loss :-(

This happened to me some months back. A wonderful ECF friend was kind enough to find that (tiny) part for me. Point is I do feel for you~! If you email the maker, you *might* be able to get just the lost part...

It was dem fairies I tell you~! It was not down the sink (I work in a bowl only for that reason) - it just *POOFED*! and gone... And, because I was not a paying customer, I did not feel it would be right of me to impose upon the wonderful people at Atmistique.

*HUGS* Bamrz

I just recently started using a Billet Bridge, so I'm not TOO familiar with them, but based on looking over the DIY Billet Bridge instructions I may have an idea for replacing the bottom trim piece of a real-deal Billet Bridge.

What I'm thinking is that if you have a spare 510 extender and a Dremel tool or something else to cut/grind with, you should be able to cut off the bottom/threaded part of the extender to make what is basically a 510-threaded ring, that should be able to replace the bottom part of the Billet Bridge (and would be open enough that the pin of the BVC atomizer can be left as-is).

Might be something that'd work in a pinch, anyway....
