first off, holy cow, cool vid Vapian.. thanks for sharing that with everybody, and what a beautiful kitty monster!!! I GOT A THUMBS UP SUCKERS!!! YAH!!! (thanks buddy)

Don't thank me ... just calling it like I see it.

Loving the construction/birthing pictures. It's nice to get a peek behind the scenes and see the thought and effort that goes into something like this. It's gotta be a rush for you -- even knowing every move the machines are going to make, watching your babies form in front of your eyes, making them ready to go out into the world ... ;)

And, thanks to everyone for the feedback on the vid. On review, it's been over a year and it shows ... just being honest. But things will get better -- in fact there will probably be a short follow up vid after I get a bit more info together. Some things I forgot to talk about and what-not, maybe more Kasper, a little gratuitous vaping. . . . :)

this is definitely my next acquisition. looking at the pics on the first page brings up a question, maybe it's been asked, if so, apologies. I see how the tank is filled, but how would you change out the carto?

Dear Damselle , A good day and welcome .

the carto Tank comes out and you can change the carto like in any standard tank :)
Hope that helps .
Best wishes
Sahil

Damn, currently im looking into picking up a new mods in the next month or so and the options are starting to become alittle overwhelming. So many great looking mods out there and this one is no different, there have not been too many box mods that I have had an interest in, but this one changed that pretty quick. I love the very well thought out design, the look, and how compact this seems, has there been any speculation on how long vape time is on average for the this?

Now i just have to hope that when I have the extra cash in the next couple of weeks that these are available for purchase, as availability will end up being a major factor in what I go with. Add a new subscriber to the thread for sure.

thanks. bookmarked the page for future reference. it looked like the tank set pretty well in there, wondered if there was a trick to getting it out. sounds like it's a cinch though.

with the way these things are going, sounds like I may have to preorder too!

As others have pointed out, cartomizer changing is just like any other cartomizer tank. You can even "hot-swap" the cartomizer while the tank is filled if you're careful (again, as with any other tank).

Or you can just swap out the whole tank - spare tanks are pretty reasonably priced, and even if you have the brass ring cranked down a bit all it takes is a U.S. quarter to unscrew it. I've carried a spare tank in my pocket several times with no leaks (wrapped in a paper towel "just in case" - but I'm a belt-and-suspenders guy when it comes to that kind of thing).

Depends a lot on your vape style. But with a 3.0 ohm Boge cartomizer, fresh batteries, and reasonable use I think you can expect about a 1/2-to-3/4 day with AW IMR's and 3/4-to-a-full day with AW protected batteries. Always recommend packing a spare set anyway, and personally I keep a spare charger at work. Being down with no batteries feels a lot like smoking the last of the pack at midnight with no convenience store nearby, as I recall it. :)

Awesome, thanks for the response, im still reading through the thread, but is there any information on what the tank is made of? Just want to make sure I know what not to put in this if im able to pick this up. Would not mind a stainless option for the tank
If that were a possibilty. Of course the only other slight issue could be availibility, i really how compact and sturdy this looks, I dont think I would be as nervous about taking this out with me as I would some of my other mods which are, or look much more fragile.

Personally, I wouldn't put anything in the tank that is known to crack others. I don't vape citrus or heavy cinnamon, so I haven't had any problems. I'm not sure what the clear part of the tank is (poly? Plexi? Lexan?), but I believe the white part is delrin.

Tank body is Delrin, clear face is polycarbonate (DD pointed out what type earlier in the thread), seal is silicon, everything food grade. He's also stated he's used liquids known to be a problem in other tanks with no problems, guessing that it could be because the surface is flat rather than curved (which changes how the material "stresses" and recovers). I don't know for sure ... the closest thing to a tank-unfriendly liquid I've tried is a cinnamon danish that is not real strong on the cinnamon.

I had a juice with cinnamon in it in the tank for well over a week, not a super strong one, but there are no signs of any cracks or any such thing. Vapian is correct, since the plastic isn't stressed (curved) the effects are probably minimal. Don't think I would run something like pluid in it though. Of course I think the stuff tastes like gasoline, but to each their own.

Thanks again for the informatiom everyone, I have a couple of cinnamon juices i enjoy, but i was actually alittle more concerned with a few of my bannana, and citrus juices that I have that have cracked tanks on my previously. After watching all of the vids i can find for this, and going through much of this thread im positive that my search is over for my next mod. This thing is just so well thought out, that its hard not to want to support it on principle. I only wish i had known about it sooner so I would not have had to wait much longer to get my hands on it, but I have no doubt the wait the wait will be worth it, no more riding with a giant tube in my pants, having to take fragile gear out on the boat, ect.

Im sure this wont be the last mod I ever buy, but because of how its made, how smartly it seems it was designed, and its apperant durability, i think this one will get the most use out of all that I currently own. Now just to wait until I can actually purchase one....the hard part.
