Wow, 12 hours that is a relief. I am a pretty heavy vapor. Now to find the right batteries :) and get me some cartos just in case. I have never used cartos so this will be all new to me! Figured this would probably be easier than learning on a tank. Hoping the flavor does not disappoint.

Any idea on how to change out a carto with a tank of juice in the event the carto goes bad in the middle of the tank being partially full?

Any thoughts on a good punch for the cartos?

Also Doug, with these units be compatible for any future changes down the road?

To swap a carto mid tank, just put the top of the new carto over the threads of the old (or vice versa), and push out the old with the new. ETA: A little juice on the outside of the new carto and a twisting motion when you pass the o-rings helps.

I got this punch recently, and I like it a lot better than the cheaper ones I've tried. It's sharper, and harder. A bit pricey, though.

Well you handy bugger you!!Thanks!!:toast:

So, I went to the post office this morning to pay my import fee ( acording to the postman its anything over £15 in value from outside the EU that gets a VAT charge ) and it wasnt the backpack that arrived......

I have my beautiful Billet Box! As has been noted many times already, this thing really is a fantastically well engineered and thought out device! I must have watched the video 20+ times, and looked at all the pictures over and over, but it didnt really prepare me. Holding it is a different world :)

I spent most of my day just looking at it as I was out doing site visits for work - no charging facilities. But, once I got home I got it prepared for lift off. I love the ball valve in the tank. Super simple quick and clean! This thing really performs great. Best hit I have had from any of the devices I tried. And its so refined! The engraving, the way the space is used so effectively, the finish, the attention to detail... compared to other devices I have had its like going from Lego to a scale model if that makes sense?

How do you do it Doug? Is it because of the huge earth path? It really performs much better at lower voltages than other devices.

Anyway, good luck to all that are waiting to get in on the new round of orders. This really is a cracking little mod. Little... amazing how compact the BB is, but it has everything you need. Great work Doug and crew!

WOWHOOOOO, sooo relived it finally got home!!! What a wait... and to be held hostage in customs ta'boot. Really glad to hear your happy with her! The voltage is simply compensated after drop out. So she reads the voltage after coil load and spits out whats need to fill the gap and remain where you set it. Really great news, i was starting to get a bit worried... but despite all the USPS tracking errors, at the end of the day, not one failed to get there... (granted, some MUCH later than others)

Hey my BB owners. Will the red AW IMR 16340's fit just as well? I have a few sets of those. Never compared the black protected 16340's next to em. I know there can be slight variances....and I don't want any loosy goosy...lol. I'm double sure this has been asked and answered....sorry bout that.

They probably will, because the black ones are on the smaller side for 16340s (probably closer to 16x34 than some others), and I've used other IMRs, but I don't know for sure.

Thank you Sir! I'm cracking up at me worrying about batts n such, when only the Lord and Doug know if I'm gonna be one of the lucky one's on this round. I'm hoping my birthday this month promotes good karma. I need to gift myself something awesome :))

I use the red AW 16340's in mine sometimes and they fit and work just fine.

So these from ebay are ok to use?? Claim to be better than the AW. Are thes e protected though??

They should be fine. I'm just concerned about the capacity of them. Don't wanna be vaping and then they crap out on me in the middle of the day. I'm hoping they perform just as well as the AWs

Folks should be getting these, Yes? 750mah vs. 500 or 700, they're 3.7v & protected as the BB website advises.

I'm glad you posted this Datalux. I wanted to, but didn't want to be the bearer of bad battery tidings.

Doug, I'm pretty sure you recommended the AW icr 123 16340 protected batteries in this thread as well, yes?

Just curious, by 'drop out' do you mean dropped voltage due to load or is there a linear regulator in there?
