I was thinking the same thing. Custom inlays with exotic wood choices - Wow! There's something to put all the other wood mods to shame. Talk about long lead times - Doug would really be working some OT!
Actually, I'm thinking ebony wood with gold fleur de lis inlay. Geaux Saints!

Seeing as you are use to working with delicate materials surely you would be willing to fit ivory panels I would supply...yes?
Good grief.... the catch-up when I miss reading here for a day er two..anyhoo anyone who was waitin for some pix of the evod coil I stuck in BB- I finally got em up on http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/405291-20d-bb-land.html#post9253395, woulda put em here but youse guys post too much! I think fer sure some better ways to do this, but for a proof of concept and a kinda-simple non-carto fix for any one who wants to tinker ( like 'kids does) it's an option.

I'd preorder one with ebony and the Eagle, Globe and Anchor on it. Need a Sunday go to meeting Billett Box.
The wood panels do look beautiful, love the look. But I see how the carbon fiber is more durable for every day use. Bottom line: whatever the panels are made out of, I still want them all

Hmmm, vs exotic inlays I'd be inclined to jump on a titanium BB. Its a rare day that I don't have a titanium handled knife in my pocket with some type of the latest super steel. Stonewashed Ti would be sweeter than polished as well. Holds up to pocket wear extremely well.
Since we are all dreaming.... I'd still, of course, be totally satisfied with the original offering. Its quite fun to imagine options, lol

Availability update + the coming of the tanks...
k guys, we have had to do some serious thinking here. We had no intention of having another pre order, but demand has dictated otherwise, and we kinda have no choice... that, coupled with the F5 BS when we actually do release some, it's just not working... I really don't want people to have to do that... it's sucks. At the same time, there are a few hundred BB owners in the world now with a craving for tanks... that's alot of tanks,,, ALOT of tanks... At the same time i have this new machine that needs tooling, jigs and a serious amount of coding to get up and kicking ....... so what "I" need, is time to work on her and get our output up.
so here is what we are going to do. I am going to pull my guys off BB prep and buffing and such this coming week, and put them and Dev entirely on tanks. tanks, tanks, tanks.....
we are going to open another pre order soon (maybe tomorrow maybe next day..working on details now), with a ship date starting in 6 weeks.
with the Dev and the guys on nothing but tanks, I am left free to write the code, build jigs, and set up the tooling for the new machine... It also will free me up a bit to get thinking on the rebuild'able.
While on the pre order are waiting, I will post updates here weekly just like last time (as soon as there is physical stuff to show). Demand has dictated we do this, but please know that as I work to increase our output by a ton, there will be no effect on quality, if anything, i only shoot to get better. All the pictures we post here with the BB next to another fine tool is a statement and compliment to its build... it is an honor, i take it as such, and i intend to keep it that way.

Wow!!! LOTS of "guy" BB pics showing up! Hmmmmm ... It's Saturday (nails need new polish) ... It's wine time ... AND just because the "Girls" of BBville need a little representing ... ;-)
