Can you roll the ball any with the syringe? May get it to reseat in a different spot and eliminate the bubbles.

Filled some more and poked it around a bit. It seems alright for now, I hope it's not damaged though.

Another note: every damn carto I punch ends up deformed with the Siam punch. Annoying. It takes alot of effort just to get the carto out of the tank. Guess I need a better punch...

Glad to hear your tank is okay. On another note I still punch most of my cartos with a drywall screw and it works very well, when it gets dull I get a new one. It's a little rudimentary but heck it has gotten me out of many a pinch.

Silent Echo Echo Echo Echo Echo,

I started out with a saddle valve. Yuck and a 1/2. It punched around 3.7 cartos before giving up the ghost.

Then I got one like the Siam punch. It lasted a bit longer, but dented and deformed all the way home.

I bit the proverbial bullet and got the VIP vapors punch ($$$$$) and I do really like it! The tip is made of (something) and doesn't wear down or get dull like the others.

I'm also using a very inexpensive (so that would be what...-$) punch called the QT3 or something? I posted it awhile back. Will find it and edit this post (if ECF doesn't double down on me first).

Ahh, here tiz: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-forum/357383-billet-box-338.html#post9267267

So I just bought some of these batteries but now I'm not sure I bought the right ones anymore
ElectronicStix.Com · AW RCR123A 3.7V 750mAh Li-Ion Battery
they are AW RCR 3.7v
I didnt notice the rcr until now (bb frenzie and all) but what I dont get is that in the faq it says aw ICR123a 3.7v but that RCR 123a are usually 3v...that they will work, but to a limited capacity.
These claim to be 3.7v RCR...
Anyway, can someone please confirm that they will at least fit? I really dont want to end up with the trustfire problems I've run into with other mods.

Thanks,

Can't say for sure until you get your items, but the image displayed is of an AW ICR 123.
If that's the case you'll be fine - proper size and voltage.

I keep trying to take a picture of the dent but nothing seems to show up in the picture...tomorrow in natural light maybe.

:)

might try one of those rubber jar opener assist rubber flap pad thingies- wont fix the problem but may give you enough grip to get er open. I'm guessin the channel is deformed I'd try the aforementioned freze+a drip o wd 40 at the seam then give it a go wit da gripper...

For what I its worth it I just hacked a slice in a 2 hole boge carto right at 1 of the holes. I enlargement it by about 4mm. Then sanded the tube smooth with 400grit. Seems to have a tad more flavor. 2 days in so far still good.

Not the best picture..

Anyone thought about or tried one of those Phoenix Raven carto's in a BB? I know they have a flange but I saw that they are coming out with flangeless versions very soon. Since I have a few weeks to wait for mine, I have time to think.
I bought a Raven a short while back and it was a pretty good vape. A bit too airy for me, but it would likely perform differently in the BB. A guy at work needed something in an emergency so I sold it to him. Never bought another, but now I'm thinking......
It seems that the Raven carto's are the same size as a regular carto, and if they are too tall they could be easily reduced.

ANyway, I was just pondering......

Looks pretty cool, any issues with deforming and all?

Nice introduction lol.

The VIP punch is out of stock, even at COV :/. It is a little pricey though. How's the QT3 treating you so far?
