Ok grinding is back after a day! I need a new ball bearing for the door does anyone know the size? The door has put gouges into the ball and it keeps locking into them and then grinding and sounds like its tearing metal up.

Any links to the correct ball bearing pref a buy it now page where i can buy a load plz.

Also my tank seaps from all gasket walls ive noticed! is there a fix for this?Or do i need a new tank?

Love the mod but its not holding up well after a week of ownership it seems.:( any help getting this thing to how it should be would be great.

My tank seals if I fill it to the brim, but if its like 3/4 full, no seats or leaks.

And I'm having the same grinding issues with my bearing. I've used olive oil, vg, pg, and I think it just doesn't want to be smooth :p

I'm still in love though

Just what I have found that works for me....
Clean the tracks and the ball with a qtip and alcohol. The ball is steel and the door is aluminum. . The ball is not wore but collecting aluminum at worst.. which makes it rough. Worst case I had to buff the ball lightly with some 400 grit or use a Dremel to just buff the ball. This was after about a week but since has not happened again.

Then I lube it up with baby oil cause its what I had handy..

Aluminum I'd much softer than steel so it will not wear that ball out. Other way around if need be buff the slide groove on the door but just make certain the tracks are completely clean...

The tanks I have had will seep a tad. But quit after snuggling up the Window bolts.. i had to tighten all my tanks to stop this but it will stop..

The Allen is tiny so make sure you have the right size a firmly seat it in the screw.. There is no room for error here or you will strip it. But it's easy... :)

Lmk if I can help further..

Thanks for the advice but the ball and door is worn!!! the ball has 2 clear gouges out of it like slots where the door has worn away tracks!!! im not imagining it and they are there, il try get some pictures if its a case of people not believing.

Id just like the size of the ball maybe doug could answer? There is also all dif types of ball bearing metals ss 304, 316, 404 hardened steel chrome all sorts, also i noticed delrin balls this could be the answer!they would wear faster but would not grind/wear door also which is getting damaged as well.

I can see this mod looking rather tatty and me needing new doors etc in under 6 months!

yes mine gets jammed on the track/grooves and grinds

So I gather the ball once rolled, but has since seized up? Seems perhaps the bearing was out of round and has only gotten worse with wear, or has managed to get some debris in it. Bummer.

If it were mine, I'd not use it till this gets sorted out so as to not ruin the door.

I am a 99% sure your tracks are dirty.. and maybe the ball has some build up from the aluminum..

If you follow my directions and really dig into the tracks with alcohol. Then lube it'll be like butter again.

I had these same problems after about 2 weeks with both my boxes. After this method with baby oil. Problems are gone.

I'm a mechanic /shop owner and around plenty of grit everyday. .

I do not think the aluminum door is going to cut in the steel ball.

I would love some pics to help you further..
Edit* I use at least 3 to 4 qtips before there not black...

I took the whole thing apart one day ago if you go back a few pages, it ran smooth till the door got caught on the GROOVES that have been cut in the ballbearing YEA GROOVES LOL the ball bearing is no longer round it has two straight tracks through it!!!!The only fix is a new ball bearing or this will continue to happen!

Hey people, the Diver is in stock at atmistique.gr
But check this out... when I paid for my cart, a misterious "Tax" of 7€ appeared. I thought it was the VAT tax that the rest of the world has to pay, but the US does not. I emailed atmistique about this, and they quickly replied saying their website is not capable of excluding the US from the tax, while giving it to Europe etc. So for every US customer, they get to pocket an extra 7€. Very interesting. :/

I'm in Norway(not a part of EU, and not supposed to pay VAT from EU countries) and had to pay that tax as well. It's not an US specific thing.

I signed up for the stock updates for the diver, but never got an update, of course. managed to get one anyway, thanks to the folks in this thread. Thanks brandooth. This thumbs for you

Hey guys,

If you haven't seen this already, check it out:

Crazy cool experiment with an HH357 - YouTube

Basically, he punched two holes in the bottom of a HH.357 atomizer. The holes were punched where the mesh is under the coil. After that, he stuck some more mesh into the holes to prevent flooding. Well, he threw it in a carto tank and it's apparently working beautifully.

While this is for the 357, I don't see why it wouldn't work for any other bridgeless 510 atomizer that has mesh surrounding the ceramic cup. I have an Empire Mods 510 sitting here that doesn't get much use, so I'll go ahead and check the length and try and get this working tomorrow.

Get on with experimentation, this might just be the new breakthrough! (well, next to a RBA option atleast...lol)

EDIT: I messed up. Apparently, standard length atomizers are much shorter than carto's lol. I compared it to my long barrel 357 here and this is what you'll need, though you may have to shave about 1mm or so off the top. I'm guessing some hardcore filing would do.

Now, all we need is another long barrel atomizer that doesn't cost $20 a pop. Anyone have any ideas?

Nhaler and CloudsofVapor have dual coil atomizers that are a bit longer than standard. Might work.

Ah yeah, I used to have one of those dual coil atties. They weren't bad at all, though the BB has an amperage limit of about 3A, so I'm not sure how well that would work out there..
