Thanks for all the B-Day wishes, folks! Good solid day spent with the Minister of Finance and Warfare (Mrs. Vapian) and toolin' around in the workshop. Finally got the air filter hung and most of the floor space cleared up ... almost ready to start using cheap tools for things they were never intended for and turning perfectly good wood into sawdust and cutoffs again. Some of my best work is in that dust collector. . . .

I think the fix is to make those shallow cuts a bit deeper with a rotary cutting wheel, so it ends up like this:

Just dry-fitted, that looks like it should allow for a bigger gap for air flow when the brass ring is snugged up, while still sealing everywhere else around the collar. This has not been tested yet. . . .

OK. Tested now. So far, me likey.

Deeper cuts in the Diver base definitely improved the airflow - easier draw and copious vapor now! Will take a day or so both to break in the coil and to determine if this contributes to liquid/condensate in the BB tank bay. Stay tuned. . . .

Geez you guys talk a lot. Not even going to try to catch up. I went to ER 2 weeks ago with shortness of breath. My O2 saturation was 72%. (normal is 95 and up). So I stayed with steroids and oxygen and breathing treatments. I tried to vape but it made me have coughing fits. I have been trying several times a day with no success. Finally after almost 2 weeks without vaping (and without killing anyone) I had some success today BUT I can only use the BB, only use 6mg juice, and only a special drip tip I got in the mail today from my dear friend Sgt Taz.

My wife went through the same thing. Turned out she had reflux induced asthma that didn't cause wheezing or any other normal asthma symptoms.

Finding the doner would be the trick... and then you would have the real thing to just fix up.

Although this bass was much nicer than its doner, and sounded better too. I don't think I could top rb.

You know I've lately been really digging the Smoktech 1.7Ohm single coil cartos. They have a lot looser of a filler, which makes it much easier to fill initially and keep wet while in a tank. I've been using these in regular carto tanks on mech mods due to the 1.7Ohms @ 3.7 Volts being nice 8 Watts. Higher than that when a battery is fresh off the charger. But 1.7 Ohms would be a tad too low in a BB at 4V. That's 9.4 Watts MINIMUM.

So earlier this morning, I ordered some 2.0 Ohm Smoks, and some 3.2's. The 3.2's are wrapped in that black wrap. I can't find them in just SS. So I'll have to strip them. The 2.0's will be okay in the BB on the lower settings, but will drain the batteries faster. It's worth it for a better vape than Boges (IMO).

Hum, all this carto talk.....had to check my inventory of carto's.....only 123 left (all Boge's).....guess you can tell what I use.......all SR's with no wrapper...

It is a pain, but it's worth a shot. I've been unimpressed with all the Boges I've got recently. These Smoks have been doing me right.
