Crocky, here's the one I just got. You might like it. Also, do you have a digital multi meter?

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...mini-lcd-screen-usb-smart-phone-charging.html

Yes, thanks, I have seen those, going to put it on my list. The nitecore to my knowledge though charges fine and hate to spend on another charger if I don't have to but might be a good idea. Yes I have a multimeter and check all my cartos before filling but I need to read up on how to dial in the batteries. I can't figure out where to set the multimeter to check them. Nothing a little googling won't fix, just been lazy lately...LOL. Not to mention I need to get new batteries for the multimeter, I am having to look at it at an angle to see the read out...I need batteries for my batteries....LOL

LOL! I know whatcha mean. Just had to buy one for my multi meter as well. I think Fleabay was the best deal.

The DMM ... welp, from a very non-technical point of view, just remember 2 o'clock and 5 o'clock. 2 o'clock is for battery voltage testing and 5 o'clock is for atomizer ohm testing. On mine, I turn the dial to 9v to test batts (that's the 2pm). And on 200 to test ohms (that's the 5pm).

Lol no I use the black ICRs st 4.75v in the billet box. I really don't change the voltage much.

They charge up to about 4.2 on my Nitecore i4 charger. I probably should have clarified there haha.

I was wondering why you hadn't blown the protection ckt in them, rolys battery page is still a good read for anyone just starting to use Mods.

You are using these?
AW IMR16340 550 mAh IMR CR123 size LiMN Rechargeable Lithium Battery
The mah rating on them is lower than the black ICR 123 at 750 mah.
Interesting

It is time for me to order some new batteries so just exploring my options. I have to. Change out twice a day right now and that is with using another mod in rotation with my BB. I use the nitecore I4 charger so I am not sure what they are charging up to. Probably should check but it is my understanding these chargers stop at the expected charge output. Might need to look into another charger as well

That's them, the nitecore will bring them to the correct voltage. I did a lot of research when starting to use mods and the IMR batteries seemed to have the best safety record and ability to handle the intermittent high current draw that Mods need.

OK, another mostly useless weekend re: vaping stuff ... except for actually vaping stuff ...
But here is a glimpse of where future magic will happen! Maybe some music, too.

So, I was bored tonight and decided to slap together a quick tank concept using the rectangular pyrex tubing Dan mentioned the other day. Dimensions are all approximated as I don't have a BB tank yet to compare it to.

Definitely not the most cost effective or parts effecient of designs, haha... but maybe it'll bring some different ideas to life, who knows!
Instead of using RBAs, this would be more aimed towards people who like quick solutions and prefer clearomizers more than cartos. The design is based around a kanger eVod replacement coil due to being relatively small.

-The two endcaps would use the same gasket material as the current BB tank. The orings right next to them would be there more to provide a little bit of grip and positioning on the pyrex as I think the tubing would have pretty tight corners and not be able to make a proper seal.
-Tank endcaps are clamped together via a shaft on the left hand side that is tightened by a knob at the top.
-The extension that makes the positive connection would be able to catch a little bit of potential leakage coming from the air hole in the center tube.
-The small screw at the bottom would allow for quick tank filling when flipped upside down (would still have to be removed from the BB however)

My first attempt at an e-cig related concept anyways.. thoughts?

Wow you peoples minds goes to places mine would never venture to. Nice going there Riz. That looks like a lot of people would like to try out and in different ways. great drawings of all the parts and pieces. Are you on this preorder. So as ya can try out your new design?

Thanks Katdarling I kinda was needing to know that too. Haven't gotten one yet but didn't know where to set if I did get one. This will help.

Me, too ... most of that stuff has been collecting dust for over a year. At least one of the songs I'm planning will be dead easy to record music-wise, but will need a singer who can closely imitate a someone specific (unless I can find some very good, cheap tools for vocal morphing). May have to advertise for singers in the SC/NC region in a few weeks. Preferably a vaper who doesn't mind traveling and will work for free. :)

excited6.jpgHeadline news just released yesterday
THE BBs ARE COMING! THE BBs ARE COMING!!They will be arriving in your mailbox within a few more days. Under no circumstances should you camp out at said mailboxes. Do not chase after the mailperson. Cause you may scare him away. Do not set looking at the mailbox from windows or porch the neighbors may think you are spying on them. Do not keep posting on here "oh where oh where is that BB, tracking says it hasn't moved in days". I REPEAT : Do not keep posting on here "oh where oh where is that BB, tracking says it hasn't moved in days". Do check your inbox for a tracking #.
Do wait a day or so for said # to post something. Do not refresh tracking # page every few seconds it will not change that often.
Do sit back and relax it will come. Stay calm and just enjoy the wait is almost over. NOW I GOTTA GO CHECK MY IN BOX DANG NO E-MAILS. WAIT A MINITE LATER OH CRAP NO MESSAGES. WELL DARN DON'T THINK MY E-MAIL IS WORKING JUST CHECKED AGAIN AND IT HAS NOTHIN DEEP BREATHS RELAX, RELAX. Did you miss the part about PACKAGING the first of next week.

I have no clue what you did here, nor do I even understand the parts... but I just love it! It seems so creative and wonderous! I would definitely try one, but might I get mine "ready made"? I tinker not.

So this is what you do when bored? Dammm... I just eat pretzels.
