honestly, I did it with a hand drill and went very slow with a titanium nitrite coated bit keeping it well lubricated the whole time. I was kind of surprised how easily it went through. Obviously remove it from the rest of the unit firsthaha A drill press is definitely the ideal solution, but I guarantee you can't tell mine from one that was done in a drill press. If you are proficient with a hand drill and frequently "do projects" you should be fine. I'll post pix later tonight.
if you have any questions PM me. this isn't something you can really undo so make sure you want to do it and the airy draw wont upset you. I have made holes in mods too big before and my only recourse was finding a roll-pin that would fit in (then cut it to length) and re-constrict the air flow.
One of the ways I test a hole size, i use a piece of pipe about the same size as the mod i want to drill, put a hole in it, put my hand over one end and mouth over the other and pull. if its too airy, the hole is too large.
Thanks Dig, I have a couple titanium bits I used for another genisis. Will hand drill it then. Just have to wait for my new o-rings to get here.
