Being a total noob to Genesis atties I have had my bliSS for a couple of weeks now and haven't attempted to wick it up, first I was waiting for new O rings then for a Provari so I could check the ohms... well still no O rings or Provari in the mail and patience got the best of me so I wicked up the bliSS. Here's my first try, and it seems to have worked pretty damn good. I have no idea what the ohms are but it vapes like hell and the Halo Tribeca tastes amazing! I oxidized the wick for EVER on my gas stove, rolled it up on a paperclip and wrapped it 5 times. Here's the result:

I moved the coils by bumping them around until they glowed evenly:

The vaping is pure epipemod bliSS!!!!!

What wire type and gauge are you guys using? I'm using 32 gauge kanthal and only the top of the coil gets red. None of the other wraps do just the top.

I'm using 30g kanthal 2x wicks 5x wraps for my unregulated mods. For my regulated mods (ProVari / zMax etc) I'm using 32g kanthal just as you if I'm doing dual coil, if I'm doing single then I use 30 and a bunch of wraps.

The keys are:
leave enough wire at the top connecting to the center post, but not too much.
Do not touch the metal wick to the center post.
Make sure the coils are not pulled tight around the wick
You should be able to easily move the coils up and down the wick
Make sure the coils are even
Fire a bunch of times at low voltage, dirty up the coil a little.

If you are still having problems, there is a great video by "igetcha69" on YouTube showing how to use rolling paper to per wrap the wick then burn it off after. Great method to use till you get a hang of it.

Pm me with any questions:)

you don't want them too tight that it affects wicking or too loose. I use a paper clip and just use a little tention on the wire as i wrap, after the coil is wrapped if you cant move the coils to adjust them then you have wrapped to tightly. There are many good videos on Youtube about Genesis coil wrapping.

Most genesis style atomizers designed that way to work properly, one thing someone suggested in this thread is you can roll up a short piece of mesh and place in the hole. Be sure to leave one hole open because that acts as a vent and will comprimise wicking of plugged up.

This.... On most video reviews of genesis style atomizers that do have plugs, the reviewer leaves them out.

I tried a wick in the extra hole, and I tried a stopper... both stopped the leaking (stopper worked best) but it greatly affected the wicking of the unit. This is the same adverse effect all of my genesis attys have when the fill hole is plugged. I put the plug in when I'm traveling so it doesnt leak in my pocket, but leave it out the rest of the time.

The best solution for day in / out I have found is using a small fat rubber band around the air holes in the cap. Being the cap has a lot of room in it, it rarely fills enough to leak out of the drip tip.

For all the benefits of genesis attys I'll take a little leaking, especially on this awesome mod.

Need some help ive been using the bliss for about 2 weeks now and flavor still.isnt on par with my Zen? Im using single coil 4/5 same as my Zen. Could this be due to the smaller air hole? Any tips are welcome.

Are you using a 4/5 coil on an unregulated mod or regulated mod? single or double wick? What wattage do you normally vape at?

Here's my typical setup that definitely (IMHO) out performs my ZAP. 5/6 30g kanthal double wick/coil (.8 - 1 ohm) on an unregulated mod, one air hole opened to 1/16. OR 6/7 32g kanthal single or double wick on my provari / zmax etc.

With the widened air hole, its as airy as my Zen (maybe even a little more) but perfect for me. Between the 2, the bliss is my hands down go to for flavor and vapor.

Here is a vid of me getting nicSick :vapor: (for demonstration purposes, in my car, ac on low, mouth pull and inhale) using a 5/6 30g double wick 1 hole widened to 1/16 on a cube 18650. The battery was about 3/4 charged at this point in the day.
