Jayson- I contacted you on the elite vapor works site with this question and haven't heard anything back.

I already have one TI bliss on order, and I want to increase it to 2 because I just got another mod I would like to put it on. Are you able to modify my existing order and make it for 2?

Got it. Sorry.

Dont be sorry, I'm sure you are slammed over there. I just posted here too, not sure where made the most sense. Thanks for your response both there and via email, your resolution is MUCH appreciated. Looking forward to these things, I keep trying to use some of my other Genesis attys and its just not cutting it... lol I keep going back to the Bliss, having a few will be great so I can switch up juice!

Would someone recommend a setup for me?

I've got a bliSS and a ZAP, and while the ZAP was pretty straight forward for a setup (jam as much #500 in there, and wrap it with 28 awg), the bliSS is confusing to me.

Ok, so there are 3-4 holes, depending on how you look at it. Dual wicks will inevitably require a higher AWG and more wraps (because of the resistance drop of two wicks). I tried messing around with this and had all sorts of trouble.

Right, so what about running NR wire between the two? Does anyone bother with this method, in order to double the resistance? This would allow the thicker 28 awg, less coils, and thus less spots for shorts.

Ok then, so let's just put that aside for now, and say I want to just run a single wick. :p Do I fill in one of the other holes, so it doesn't leak everywhere (and with what)? Do I cover the opposing air flow hole as well (and with what)?

I like a cooler vape, but strong flavor with less throat hit, if that helps sort out for what I'm looking to do with the device.

//Oh, I should mention that I initially tried 36 AWG wire (granted I'm a novice), dual coils, thinking this would help me get to my perfect vape, but I kept popping the coils within a second or two. That wire is so thin it's tricky to work with, at least for me. I'd be willing to give it a shot again, now that I have more practice, but I wasn't sure if 36 AWG is just exceptionally easy to pop or if it was human error.

Thanks!

I'm sure we can get you up an running.
1) What device would you like to use it on?
2) What is your typical Ohm and voltage combination? (or watts you like to vape at)

To answer a few of your questions first. I do not use the nr wire method, I personally think it takes some of the ease and simplicity out of the genesis style attys. I usually use the Hole directly in front of the hole in the cap on the side with 2 wick holes, dual wicks then opposing sides. I have also widened out the cap hole (to 1/16) on the side with 2 wick holes, for better airflow. I prefer a hot vape with tons of vapor.. ymmv

I dont fill in the other holes because it inhibits wicking as with all genesis attys I have used. If tipped upside down, the bliss leaks just like my zap, or did(did)..etc.. Sometimes when I know im going to be sitting (at work etc) I put a velcro cable tie around the airholes in the cap and that makes it so it doesnt leak in my pocket.

unregulated - Cube, caravela, anything that doesnt have electronics
-For single wick on an unregulated mod I use 30g Knathal 4/5 wrap and it comes out to about 1.2 ohms
-For a double wick on an unregulated mod I use 30g Kanthal 5/6 wrap and it comes out to about .8 ohms 6/7 wrap would be cooler but still may be hot in your opinion.

Regulated - Provari, zmax, anything that has something to step up the voltage.
- for single wick regulated device I use 32 Knathal 4/5 wrap for about 1.5 ohms
- for double wick regulated I use 34 kanthal 5/6 wrap for about 1.5 ohms

Let me know the answer to the 2 questions at the top and ill do my best to get you a more custom answer :)

Sorry to hear that LongHaul, what dont you like? do you have a v1 or v2? I have helped a few people through PM get theirs up an running great, so if you are open to tinkering let me know here or PM me and ill do all that I can to help. Ill admit its not the easiest to get performing 100%, but when you do its one of the best imho.

Digunderground you mention a V1 and a V2 whats the difference between the two? I didnt know there was diff versions.

Well.. to be honest I'm not 100% sure.
Jayson might have more insight. From what I have heard/discussed with people here is the "list"

1) different o-rings, came with the same ones all V1 users had shipped out to them
2) any airhole alignment to wick issues resolved.
3) The top cap is not as tall as the V1 (unconfirmed, I just havent seen them side by side to confirm)

I definitely have a v1 since I bought it as soon as they were released and I'm waiting for the TI ones before I buy another. The TI ones are V2 design last I heard, But I have not heard any updates on the TI since just after they were announced.

I can tell you that I am 100% satisfied with my V1 and cant imagine much to make it better. Maybe Jayson will check in here and give us some info on V1 to V2 differences and if the TI will be V2 or if it has further edits.

I'm using a provari, and in the past I tended to stay around 4 volts at 2 ohm. There were some exceptions to that, however. The clear dual coil cartos, which are 1.5 ohm, I used to run at 4.8 volts.

Blade - From what you are saying you vape at about 8 Watts (2 ohm @ 4 volts = 8 watts ). Even with your alternate dual coil 1.5 ohm (2x 3.0 ohm coils) @ 4.8 volt you are darn near 8 watts, heres why. On the dual coil the math would suggest 15 watts consumption (1.5 @ 4.8v), however EACH 3 ohm coil (again 2x 3.0 ohm coils = 1.5 ohm dual coil) is seeing 7.68 watts. soooo... the heat should be similar between the 2 setups, but the dual coil should yield more vapor.

Does this make sense? If not let me know and I'll try to break it down different.

Let me experiment and see what combination would yield 2x 3ohm coils, I want to say the following will work:
34g kanthal 5/6 wrap on each wick, but it COULD have been 6/7.. let me check, or you can.. lol

Lastly, wind the coil without liquid in the tank. On a regulated mod, start out at 3.2 volt and fire the coils to check for hot spots. If there are hot spots gently nudge the wire with a tech screwdriver and continue doing so (caress your wires ooooo.. lol if you need instruction on this pBusardo via Zen has a great vid HERE ) and make sure NONE of them are making hot spots.. its kind of tedious but worth it. Once they are ALL not making hot spots, kick it up to 3.8 volts-ish and do it again.. and then your "target voltage" (online ohms law calculator to find your 8 watts, remember to divide the watts by the number of coils you have) and do it again.. once it is firing great then go ahead and add liquid and you should be good..

Dual wicks with thin wire for regulated mods are a pain to get going and learn, but once you do they are easier to do in the future.. and not to mention AWESOME vapor..

Let me know how it goes, ask more questions etc.. pm me even.. Knowing all this will make all your coils better and your bliss outshine them all ;)

Yes, I would to know what the TI looks like and the specs/dimensions/changes over the Steel version before using my creditcard.

Page 3? Ummmm No.
Mini Bliss?

From what I have heard from another member here after he spoke with DocDaye is the following.. The TI bliss will be made in the next few weeks and retailer (Elite Vaporworks etc) will be done first. The TI should be shipping out from retailers the 2nd week of November. Shortly after the MiniBliss will go into production. MY assumption would be the mini will be available in Dec judging by past and current info.

PLEASE understand, I'm in no way affiliated with Elite or DocDave so I dont know the validity of this info.. but I havent heard much from either camp so I'm just relaying what I have heard.
Hoping to hear something from the peeps that know! Havent seen Jayson on here for a while.

and yeah, back to pg 1!

Im sure you do want them just as bad! Any details on specs /changes from the previous SS ones? or exact same?

Always coming to the rescue at the best of times good sir, Thanks for the heads up!

It will be pretty close to the V2 SS. That's all I can say at this point.

How is it?
It's great, how great? There are 35 pages that describe the issues, fixes, reviews, set-up, advice and mostly love for the bliSS (not to mention the great attentive support from Elite). Take some time and read the thread, do yourself a favour and get one to find out (how it is) for yourself.

How's this thing ??
Am new on this thread,

AWESOME.. so awesome I have one and 2 TI ones on order.. by far the best atty I have tried or own and at $139 how do you beat it?!. At this point any issues have been ironed out (originally some leaking due to orings that have since been replaced FOR FREE, thanks Jayson) Now its all about figuring out how to make your setup perfect for you. This thread has a TON of information on wick combos, wire wraps, dual wick setups (insane vape btw) etc.

How is it?

^^^ and that too..
Jayson at EliteVaporworks has been nothing but amazing in his customer support. All of us that post here hugely support helping each other out and answering questions. Definitely read through and ask anything... I for one, will gladly help you get set up if you get one.

What do you normally vape (what mod and atty?)? do you know what wattage you normally vape at ?
