LMAO , it happens
VV rocks !!

Well thats the truth :)

Fortunately my first mod was from notcigs. and my second..... and.... my fourth.... Third was wood so I had to stray a little... Next comes a infinity pro.... then a VVPV....

So long story short I did things right out of the gate :) You and notcigs have kept me on the vaping path. Almost at a year and cant ever imagine going back.

Thanks

VV is more forgiving but I still enjoy my 3.7v w/ proper resistance carto.
I'm using mostly 12mg at 3.7v and 6mg at 4.2v.

Buzz Pro can do that too.LOL That's the nice thing about it. in stead of carrying around a 3.7 volt PV, a 5 volt PV, and a 6 volt PV. I found it's easier and cheaper to have all them rolled into one compact little unit.

Haha strprswpr..I see a post on the classifies coming soon!!

I hear ya! I sold some juice on here I didn't care for. Tucked away a 10 here, a 20 there until I had enough.
I had a little help though, they weren't available for sale yet when I started "tucking away". Gave me time to save up.
I don't have it yet, should be here soon.

All VV is not created equal.

VV allows you to adjust your voltage - got that part.

But with the Buzz the voltage stays where you set it until the batteries die - voltage doesn't fade off and reduce performance once the full charge is gone. So you have consistent voltage/performance which is something you don't get with a non VV mod. (That's right, the Buzz does a better job of being a fixed voltage device than a fixed voltage device does).

And, while my Buzz Original could get warm if I was using Dual Coils or something, it never overheated and I've heard that the Pro is much improved and runs much cooler. Simple VV mods overheat fast and drain the batteries fast. All VV is not created equal.

I guess my point is that, trying VV and trying a Buzz aren't the same thing. And even if VV isn't your thing, a Buzz does fixed voltage better than a fixed voltage mod. Maybe it's just me, but I'm at a loss as to why anyone who doesn't mind a unit bigger than a cigarette would buy anything other than a high end VV? And Buzz Pro is at the top of that pile in terms of performance and ease of use, yet at the bottom of that pile in terms of the price you pay. Crazy. Just crazy. How did this happen? I don't know but I like it.

Edit: And if elegance and beauty are your thing...have you seen the veneered mistinthewoods special editions? Amazing. No brainer.

The VV mods I've seen have a regulator that maintain constant voltage till batt is low.

Linear regulators like my DIY work perfect but waste energy as heat.

More efficient switching regulators waste less energy as heat.

Constant voltage regulator mods also hold same voltage till batt is low.

Typical single batt mechanical mods start at 4.2v after charge then drop to roughly 3.7v then drop a bit more.

I'm not saying you can't get any mixture of any those features a lot of other ways. I'm just saying if you're looking for a complete package, this is a good place to look. If you enjoy voltage drop, enjoy it. If you DIY your own VV hot box - very cool, that is good for you, you've got more skill and initiative than a lazy sod like me - I just want to find the best thing at a good price, buy it and be done with it.

If somebody doesn't want the same kit I want, hey, to each their own. I only posted what I did because it's the kind of information I like to find when I'm researching a purchase, and I'm pretty impressed with notcigs.
