I'm not saying you can't get any mixture of any those features a lot of other ways. I'm just saying if you're looking for a complete package, this is a good place to look. If you enjoy voltage drop, enjoy it. If you DIY your own VV hot box - very cool, that is good for you, you've got more skill and initiative than a lazy sod like me - I just want to find the best thing at a good price, buy it and be done with it.

If somebody doesn't want the same kit I want, hey, to each their own. I only posted what I did because it's the kind of information I like to find when I'm researching a purchase, and I'm pretty impressed with notcigs.

Do you know what kind regulator the buzz pro uses?

Ok to set the record straight voltage regulators control or keep the voltage as constant as possible , so a mod that uses a VR will be more consistent ( some are better than others ) .
the OB ( original Buzz ) used a Linear regulator that produced heat as a by product in the control circuit.

The BP ( Buzz Pro ) uses a switching regulator , it is a BUCK type regulator , we chose this type for several reasons I will explain them here.
1. A Buck regulator uses voltage to produce current ( draws less amps/current from the battery )
2. A battery is a CURRENT storage device with fixed voltage , we use current capacity.
3. We want to conserve CURRENT not voltage
4. THey are MORE efficient than a BOOSTED regulator and draw LESS current to do the SAME JOB.
5. Stacked cells allows you to reduce the voltage and conserve current capacity of a battery.

Boosted devices eat batteries and require higher capacity batts with higher current draws ( hence the AW type batt. on a ProV and others )

We did a LOT of research in this area and came up with what I believe is the MOST efficient regulated device possible. I am seeing 96% efficiency in tests .

I'm the same........... there is only one style of mod that i'm satisfied with other than the buzz/buzz pro & of course my infinity when I need to go chrome :). The Buzz just vapes great no matter what. I could put a carto, a tank, a scubagen, liquinator........anything on it & it's good.

Now to offload some of these mods somewhere............lol

i'm beyond ready for the vvpv to be released.

You could send them to Salemgold so she can ship them over to Iluvthearmy. Then they'll get passed around to all the soldiers stationed out in Afghanistan.
