hey gang... so I see often that people are looking for an all day vape (or adv) to find to complete the quest that is vaping happily. I on the other hand have never desired to find a flavor that I would want to vape all day. Even when I used tanks, I would never fill them all the way up, as I was always anticipating the next flavor that I would put in them.

It isn't because I never found any flavors that i liked.. or even loved.. immensely... the reasoning I always had, was why limit myself? Why not have tons of flavor that I love and switch to them often? I never came up for a good reason not to follow this methodology. I even came up with reasons not to. The most abundant was vapors tongue. Ive been vaping consistently and often since March of this year and have never had anything approaching vapors tongue. I chalk it up a bit to drinking lots of water, but moreso, constantly changing flavor profiles. I also find that I go through a bit less juice this way.. although I am not sure why. I just know when I have used just one flavor for a while, I tend to use it more and quit trying to taste the nuances on it.

After making the transition to dripping it remained easy for me to never find an ADV, but to just continue to find outstanding juices.

the downside to this is that I planned to eventually evolving into a reo user. I have one but don't like it bc its an original mini and cant sub ohm.. and i cant not sub ohm now... but once I do.. i suppose I will have to use flavors more than I have been...

would be nice if we could get the chemistry together to make tanks/bottles that had layers of flavors.... the first thing i thought of was surface tension... adding a small amount of something on top of each layer...

ok.. im rambling now.. and should probably make that the topic of another discussion altogether.

any others never found a need for an ADV?

I'm all about ADVs. If I can't vape a particular juice for an entire day, I won't buy it again

ok. but what if you have say.. 15 juices that you could enjoy the taste of all day, but choose to rotate them out every 15-20 minutes? thats what I do. I could gladly use most any of the juices i love all day, except i know i wouldnt be tasting any other good flavors that are just sitting there...

variety is the spice of life.

I was just like the OP until I mixed one flavor that I can't seem to let down, it's been 11 months and a half and still vape it 95% of the time. well as I DIY I sometimes add a little something here and there but it is still the same recipe

I am waiting for that moment I suppose. I have found a lot of winners, but not that one that makes me say.. i dont need/want any others.

I like the best of both worlds. Trying new juices is just plain fun, but having your adv loaded in your favorite PV is hard to beat! I have my reo grand with 6mils of mt baker vapor hawk sauce loaded almost always. Then my reo mini2.1 has 3 mils of rotating adv like blue moo, vanilla tobacco and bloodbath. I use my rda(s) for juice I havnt tried before or that doesn't mix well and menthol flavors that I like less frequently. I guess you could argue I don't have an adv since I usually use all these and more on a daily basis, however, I am always drawn to the Grand with hawk sauce. I want it. I need it. It's precious to me.

I like trying new juices, provided I think there is a decent chance I like them

nothing wrong with changing flavors, I just don't see the point in changing them up all the time. I'll rotate every day - few days with the specific flavor. I generally use the same setup on a daily basis and can't be bothered.

then again, how were you when you used to smoke? did you change your brand of choice multiple times per day? seems a bit weird

I've never really gotten into the flavor chase. I smoked for right around 40 years and after trying several different brands when I first started, I smoked Marlboro exclusively. The last 5 years or so that I smoked I switched to Winston (no additives they claim).

Since I switched to vaping I only experimented for the first couple weeks with several tobacco flavors from local shops...none of which I cared for at all. Upon finding this forum about two weeks into my vaping I discovered that many folks like unflavored and took a chance and ordered up some.

I was pleasantly surprised!

Now, the only thing I vape is unflavored with the occasional menthol I make from my unflavored + crystals.

So, today for example I have my RSBT with a new 26ga .9 ohm coil I rolled this morning filled with 50/50 unflavored (@15mg) mounted on my Stingray...and my Smok ARO winder with a Nova-S Pyrex and BVC coil filled with my menthol brew for whenever I feel like a change (usually about 5% to 10% of the time max). Some days I may vape out for a few hours with the menthol but mostly it's just unflavored and I'm good to go.

The great thing about finding an ADV is that if the vendor sells cheaper in bulk or on sale, you can buy a ton of it. Boba's leads the way for me but nicotickets right there too. Just because it's an ADV, you can still have variety. These days, I'm mixing a lot of NT's flavors with Boba's(a few, not a lot) or with the rest of their line. Keep this is mind, Black Friday is going to get here fast. Most vendors will be running sales. I'm trying to save money so I can take advantage of the lower pricing. Last June or so, I ordered 300ml Boba's, 200 ml of Gorilla Juice. I'm still working on those bottles because now that I tried NT, I immediately had a bunch of other flavors I really like. I think the AVE stuff came out to .37 a ml. Update. I have maybe 10 ml of Boba's left.

You simply buy lots of tanks. I change off between 4 basic flavors throughout the day, all in different tanks, heh they all have their own dedicated mod too :)

I have even more tanks because, well you need backups and backups for those. I am optimistic I will find more flavors I like. Clarification, I "like" many flavors but so far only a few are worthy.

Get good tanks, in the long run juice is more expensive than the equipment. Well, unless you are an idiot.

I'm with you! I do like to try new flavors now and then, but basically just looking for a better one. If I like it, it's an ADV! If I don't, it's a never vape again (NVA). I'm a boring old fart and like to use the same flavor most all the time. I HATE spending cash on several flavors only to find only one or none of them are any good to me or they gum up coils, or whatever. So I tend to find one I like and stay with it.

I agree with getting multiple tanks and/or multiple devices.

I have at least 6 devices ($100 to $300 ea.) which for some reason I've gotten all setup with practically the same favorite atomizers (more $).

My problem is I only know of 4 juices, one of them DIY, that I really like and I'm hesitant to keep buying juices ($)

So actually it's a no/win situation. LOL because I've got too much $ tied up. (painted into a corner).

heh... i never leave the house w/o 3-4 bottles of juice. i mean i have before.. and have been fine.. no panic.. no strong need to use another flavor.. but when i have the chance.. its drip drip drip from one bottle to the next. its not like im 'tired' of the one flavor.. its more like.. theres more good stuff to try!

to answer the smoking question.. no.. i stayed loyal to my brand when i could afford them... (camel light menthols) but ciggs didnt have the amazing variety of tastes to choose from.

i totally get the idea of buying in bulk. i never buy more than a 30 ml of juice from anyone... the reason is i like to have all these flavors on deck. my next venture will be into diy (should be buying w/in a week) as im fascinated w/ how everything works. i know it seems almost noobish.. but ive been reading about doing it for months and i get excited... lol...

edit.. i have multiple rdas.. (i cant stand tanks anymore lol) and am constantly changing flavors.. so its not a lack of devices.. and tbh.. if you have 15 tanks and you rotate them through the day.. you aren't vaping any juice as an ADV... you are actually making the case that I am.. in that life can be better than just having one flavor you use all day...

same, i can't seem to shake my adv. it has 3 flavors that never change but i'll vary adding 1 or 2 extra flavors. I keep trying different recipes but can't find another i like as much. Not that they can't be an adv it's more like i don't like change or something. I smoked the same brand of tobacco for 20 years.

I have had a ADV for the last 6 months. I'll go to the juice bar at my B&M, thinking I'd like to have something else in my arsenal, find one that I like, get home, fill a tank and it just sits there. I'll say I'm going to us this and nothing else today. I'll use it the first hour, then it gets nasty and I go back to my RY4U. I carried a pack of smokes and tried to keep up with a lighter for 36 years. I can't see myself carrying a couple of juice bottles and tanks. I fill up my Aero, grab a 2 battery pack and I'm off.

I've only been vaping for around 4 months. The only juice company I have tried is Mt Baker Vapor. I ordered maybe 12 flavors and I have only really loved two of them, Blueberry and Grape which I ordered again and again.

I reached the point this week that I ordered a 236ml bottle of my favorite, Blueberry. It saves me money ordering in bulk and I know that I will like it and not get sick of it.

It's cool trying out new flavors and I will continue to do it, but it just makes sense to vape what I like the majority of the time.

I still haven't even scratched the surface to what is out there, but I am happy to have an "ADV".
