Today's vapemail brought me a nice new toy: the Nimbus rda clone, otherwise known as the Chimbus.

To begin with, here's a blog post featuring a quick video with some notes of interest:

Quick Overview Of The “Chimbus” Dual Coil Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer | John Castle

Overall, for $15 this is a nice little device. A question, though:

Is it normal for dual coil RBAs to read sub-ohm? The prebuilt coil on this bad boy reads at 0.8 ohms on the iTaste VV -- and what's really strange is that the iTaste will fire it at 0.8 ohms. It won't fire my Smoktech Octopus rda at anything under 0.9.

Here lately with all of the clone RDA's they have been in the sub ohm range and .8 seems to be the norm.
