The Clock On Your eVic

The clock on My eVic runs fast, it gains minutes and although I don't use it as a watch and rarely even see the time other then when turning it on I notice it is fast.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

That's interesting. I just checked mine and says its 3 minutes faster then my cell phone. Maybe another bug to report to joytech or time slows down while vaping

My was also 3 minutes fast, just synced it to within a few seconds to my atomic clock.

Noticed this too on my eVic a few days ago, I think their clock circuit is running off a system clock that's not quite evenly divisible, or it can be just a software math error...

If it's a hardware limitation, then it would be nice if they synced it to the PC's system clock everytime it connects via USB...

Agree with tom they should sync you clock with PC clock when you sync and dl data.

I'm pretty sure that in the past when I connected to my lap top it did not sync the clock, I'll try it again in a week or so if and when it goes out of time again.
I do not connect to track my usage etc, only do it when there is an update.

Okay been 4 days it seems to have gained about 10 seconds

ok 4 more days (8 total) put a stop watch to it. It is running 39.43 seconds fast

Mine is holding at 3 minutes. I will have to adjust and see if it holds. Seems like it's keeping good time. 40 seconds is not too bad either.

I am going to have to reset this test. Reason being I had a very good old visiting Me this weekend. He has been messing around with the Njoys, Blu's, and well We kinda know how that goes, He fell in love with My eVic. He really couldn't afford to buy one himself. So being He is such a good friend and has helped Me in monumental ways in the past, I forwarded My eVic and a couple of T3 tanks to Him, taught Him how to rebuild the coils, gave him about 15 ml of juice and guided Him through a juice order at MBV.

First thing this morning I went to My local B&M and picked up a new eVic for Myself, as with the old eVic just synced the clock to My atomic clock. So We will see how it goes from here.

Did something similar, saw my friend vaping off those small ego clones (650mAH type shorty ego), so I bought him a proper Vamo V3 and a T3S... Filled it with a good Strawberry Kiwi juice... Couldn't give up my eVic, it's still my favorite mod...

Okay it's been one week with the new eVic I just timed the clocks My eVic is running 39 seconds fast. I'll check it again in one week.

It's funny. I stopped wearing a watch when I started wearing a smart phone. Seemed redundant.

Now I guess all you have to do is look at your mod, as long as you don't mind half a minute variance from Greenwich Mean Time

I hooked it up to the computer and reset the time for the time change

Checked mine just now and was 1 hour and almost 3 minutes fast need to sync today to reset for DST.

mine was also plus one hour due to the time change, but i omitted that from the weekly check, I don't think it was suppose to update the time change.
