Grabbed one of these the other day and I must say ... it's officially surpassed my Mini Nova as my "to work" atomizer device.

I've put one full tank through it so far and I didn't have a single dry hit ... not one. In fact, the thing pumped out flavor/vapor until there was simply no more liquid in the tank without any harshness what so ever. When the tank was empty I simply couldn't get any vapor ... looked down the drip tip and saw the coils glowing ... "Oh, im out of juice!" This little beast (friggin thing is heavy) wicks very well.

Well worth the $25 I spent on a whim for it.

Ironically ... after my first tank I am now having wicking issues. Also had a bit of leaking issues but that was because I didn't have the bottom post screwed in all the way.

After putting my own juice in the tank the ONLY way I can get a non-dry hit is by lowering my voltage/wattage well below normal, with the mouth piece screwed all the way open. Just got home but in a bit I'm going to take it apart and see if I can figure out what's going on. Today at work, it was performing much worse than my Mini Nova .... arghhh!

I'm using the precoiled wicks atm. After much fiddling I fixed the dry burning issues. You have to REALLY pay attention to all the threaded parts and make sure they're nice and tight ... make sure everything is threaded properly. I also spread the coils out more on the premade wick.

Flavor still seems muted. Don't know if that is because of the thin wick or because I'm so use to genesis/rbas giving intense flavor. Interested in seeing if a thicker wick will improve flavor or if its just the "CE style" air draw design of the atty itself.

I don't even think the premade wicks I bought are 3mm wicks ... which could be part of the problem.

Gonna have to buy some nores wire and build my own because I'm still having wicking issues. It almost seems like the juice gets vacuumed inside the tank. To get it to produce good quality vapor and taste I have to close the mouthpiece all the way ... unscrew the top of the tank, screw it back on, then open the mouthpiece all the way. This causes it to slightly flood ... but atleast I'm able to get a decent vape.

I find it really strange because my first full tank seemed to be fine ... but then again I was using a Menthol juice. Since then I've been using my Ecto-1 blend and know EXACTLY how it should taste and thus far ... the Cody has let me down.

Well I just rewicked my Cody with the original wire. The stock wick is too small and the coil is wrapped too tight. I recoiled over a piece of 1.5 and 2mm.

Also, if you assemble the atty before filling it, flip it upside down, unscrew the base and slide the the top down the mouth piece a little. You'll be able to get another mil or so of juice that way. If the juice control is all the way tight and you don't put too much juice in it. It will go together with no flooding.

The Cody can't be filled like an oddly unless you are ok with 1.5 mils of juice.

Just an update:

The Cody is now wicking pretty well without changing anything. Must have needed to wear in the silica and wire a bit.

On a negative note ... the Cody threads will no longer work on two of my devices. Yup, the Cody ate part of the threads so now it won't screw on. Other devices still screw on to those mods however. When I first saw the Cody's threads I wondered if this would become an issue (they are very short).

I have a 510 to 510 adapter on the way to see if that will resolve the issue. So if you have mods with brass 510 connections ... WATCH OUT!
