SMOKtech corrected the main safety issue with the Groove which was use of pointed Phillips heads screws for the case enclosure. They now use flat head screws so there is no puncturing of the internal 3800mah battery. The battery has also been reinforced within the case and can withstand drops better. The new smok Groove has a roman numeral II emblazond on the front. The function of the Groove is still the same as the original VV/VW device and we will repeat the original information below:
Introducing the New GROOVE Variable Voltage Variable Wattage 3800mah battery mod from SMOKtech. We really enjoy the comfy feel in the hand and the long, long battery life. It is manufactured from high impact heavy duty plastic and feels very solid in the hand. Very attractive black gloddy finish. Please watch a complete demo of the product provided below.

- 3800mah Li-polymer 3.7v battery
- 3.0-6.0v variable voltage in .1 increments
- 3.0-15W variable wattage in .5 increments
- Cycles around once it reaches either end of voltage or wattage.
- Can detect atomizer resistance by pressing the + button for three seconds.
- Can detect battery remaining voltage by pressing the - button for three seconds.
- 5 clicks of fire button turns the unit on and off.
- Holding both + and - buttons together for three seconds toggles between variable voltage and variable wattage

- Micro USB port on the groove connects either to included wall adapter or can be attached to a high power USB port on your computer for charging. It takes about 4 hours for a full charge.

- FORCED RESET FEATURE: If you are experiencing abnormal behavior simply press the S1(the - button) and the S3 (fire button on top) together for ten seconds, when you see the SMOK letterign coem up you have successfully reset the mod.
