Hm. So since I am a PC user because the limitations of the Mac are completely unacceptable to me, I should not have bought a Provari, despite its limitations being perfectly acceptable to me? Well, that gave me something new to ponder.

Of course all of it is nonsense.

You can certainly use tanks with a mech, just get the low ohm cartos. While waiting for my kayfun I used 1.7Ω cartos in an IBtanked on a mech and it worked very well. But I've also had an MVP I killed and currently own an MVP 2, love them both. I'll still use the MVP 2 occasionally and as an Ω checker. It's durable and super long batter life. For the money it cost it's IMHO by far the best value in a vapor on the market. It's a lot of product for $40. I was hooked from the start on variable voltage/wattage with twists then an MVP and iTaste VV but the simplicity of the mech has me in love. Plus they look cool.

I would love to try a Provari but it's simply out of my price range.

I use both a mech (multiple of them, actually) and a VW device. I like them both great, though a variable provides for a far more consistent vape from the time you pop in the battery until it will no longer fire in my sigelei 20W.

I have no desire for a Provari, especially after the Sigelei 20W at about 1/3 the price.

A provari will last you 5 years easily and I think it comes with a 4 year warranty.

Provari comes with a 1 year warranty.

I'd say if you own a Mac and think it rules, get a Provari. If you own a PC, and don't get why people buy overpriced .... and would rather buy a new PC with the latest and greatest in a couple years, go with anything else discussed here.

Just my experience, but I was and still am an eGo Twist user as I love the ease of it, with a huge supply of Kanger T2's as I like to change the flavors from time to time.

However, I was very very lucky and won a provari on ECF or I doubt I would have bought one based on the strong opinions both for and against. I now find myself defaulting to the Provari - and still use the T2s and a 510 adapter for those flavor changes,:) but I use a Kayfun 3.1 for my favoritest juice. I do love its reliability. I have the mini and an extender so I can choose which battery size I prefer.

Now I'm going to buy myself one (or two).

And if it croaks for some reason I know I can always send it to Provape in hope that it's fixable. That's also a nice touch. It's also very straightforward to use.

If you're sure that vaping is going to be with you for a long time, then I would recommend a Provari.

Just my thoughts and hope they are of some use to you.

Hi guys, Got sick of my spinners and am looking to upgrade. In my ebay cart, I have

4 bay Efest Luc Charger
3 18490 aw batteries
1 Smoktech Kick (evolv Kick 2, if within budget)
1 Smoktech Magneto. (Mod Only)

I changed your cart. You had two mods, neither would run a clearo tank very well, and the batteries that come with the K 101 kits are usually replaced right away. Here we have a kick which will let you run variable power (similar to provari) and eliminate the need for fuses, and good batteries. You can mix and match these items until you find your favorite type of vape. Clearo, carto, Kayfun, dripper, and genisis will all work with this setup.
I have never owned a Provari so I have limited advice there.
I do know you can buy a used Pro and sell it again for the same price. They have a good resale value, which reduces your risk on that.
JG - Trying to be simple again.

At the end of the day, people are for and against a Provari, just like anything else.

However, when pbusardo was asked what he would vape if limited to only one setup, it was a ProVari with a Kayfun.

That's a guy that has access to pretty much anything he wants to vape.

About the only thing it isn't good for is sub ohming. Although, I run mine with a .85-.95 coil in my Russian and 2.9 volts. Produces prodigious vapor, great flavor, every time.

As for the VW function...well, I have a Semovar for just that.

Personally, I found no real use for it. I like to vape different juices, and most of them take a different wattage level to vape to my taste. If you had the same flavor in many tanks, VW would be great though.
