Hey gang - been lurking around digging for info the last few months and often find myself here - finally pulled the trigger and made my account. Stumbled across some doozies that I just can't find answers for which I am hoping someone here can help with!

From all of my internet stalkery, this seems like a happy place. You're all right, ECF. Hopefully I am up to par!

Hello and welcome to the forum @Jimieus. Glad to have you here!:)

What can we try to help you with?

Hey Susan! Good to be aboard :)

Well, it's a dilly of a pickle. I have just got my hands on a K.loud+G which I now see has a very tight airflow - looking at it, it is just begging to be drilled out, but before I do so I thought I better convene with the mega-mind that is the internet to see if someone else has done it and find out the pros and cons of doing so.

After a bit of hunting, I managed to find some images on google of someone who has done exactly what I want to do - the bummer of this being that they are actually from a thread on HighEndMods.net, which I am not privy to!

Now, here is where things get awkward - I could see from the google listing that the person who did it is a user by the name of @Pete54 who I have, in pure internet stalker fashion, tracked down to this forum! Hopefully, if I am super-nice, I can pick his brain to see how it panned out and decide whether it is worth doing.

So there you have it - I promise I am not some cave dwelling monster, but I sure as heck borderline feel like one. If you read this Pete, sorry for any awkwardness - just couldn't find this info anywhere!

Thanks to everyone who responded! Have all my internet love! *like like like

The good news is that @Pete54 is active on this forum (he logged on earlier today) so maybe when he logs back in he will see our two tags and respond back in this thread.

Barring that, you can "start a conversation" with him once you get 5 posts/replys.:)

Hi and welcome. I don't know your tank, but I have bored a number of them to increase air (and ground a few for more juice). It usually works out OK :)

Thanks! I'm just worried because it needs drilling through a peek section and If I crack it I think I would just die haha. Crossing those fingers for it being a simple task.

Ground for more juice? As in, grinding out the tank for more volume? Wow, that's pretty tricky dicky!

PEEK is pretty tough plastic. Sharp drill bit and you should be OK. I did once ruin a tank because I tried to bore it half on the stainless and half in the PEEK and it walked off the steel and into the plastic, putting the hole in the wrong place. Wouldn't have happened if I had put the hole so more than half was in the steel; then the steel would have captured the bit. And no, I have never ground the tank base to increase juice capacity. Rather, I should have said more juice flow: I ground the juice channels to make them wider and deeper so thick juices flow into the wick better.
