I saw 2 posts regarding this new item. I don't know what Super-T thinks about this. I know that Super-T endorses the Kick and its use in their devices its been tired and honestly, I love the KICK. I cant see using any device with out it.

They are saying this new "Crown" is going to "kill" it. I sounds good in theory, but I see quite a few flaws.

Pros: changing watts on the fly, supposedly higher voltage capability ( not sure how, because it has a 10w maximum
You don't have to remove it do adjust it.

Cons: While adjusting the wattage it fires the attached device, It has what I think, is a series of obnoxious beeps and bleeps.
Depending on the type of button , it might be hard to get actual counts. It doesn't have a visual way of changing the settings.

I know a lot of you here use the Kick and David is a fan of the Kick, because of the Kicklet. New devices are designed with the Kick in mind etc.

I hope to get a better idea of this thing from fellow Kick users. I might be a bit biased, but the little beeps and bleeps would drive me nuts.

I want to see the numbers. Being a darwin owner I know the technology behind Brandon's devices. I still have yet to see one device out there that operates like the darwin or kick or dna chips.

I watch my numbers while using my darwin, as my atty changes so does my amps and voltage. Atties that are on their last leg, I have watched mid vape go from 1.2 ohm to 3.6 ohm and the darwin adjust accordingly mid vape.

Might be something you need to pick up, Forcedfuel50. With it being the "new must have" you might want to experiment with it on your devices. Im sure there will be people getting it and then calling you for help if it ends up having quirks in the Super-T devices.

I myself will stick with my Kick. Its been tested with your products and obviously you have tested it , especially with the fact that you designed the Kicklet. But this is just my opinion, of course. Plus , I tend to stick with what Im comfortable with and like to keep it simple.

I'm unfamiliar with this device and don't know if it works in the same manner as the Kick or not as this is the first i've seen it, but if it's as described, it may be another nifty tool for mechanical PV's.
Pbusardo's reveiw.....Looks like the Crown would work in the ELA with no need for spacers...
