Hey guys, I recently had a couple vision stardusts poop out on me. The tips melted while I was using them, the tanks clouded up and eventually the whole top portion snapped off. This happened twice in about three days, the tanks were from the same vendor, on one occasion I was using Ms T's strawberry shortcake and on the other it was strawberry lemonade. Initially I thought it was a bad batch of clearomizers but before I called the company I did a little research I found this site Flavors and Juices that are known to react with polycarbonate : Big Daddy Vapor which lists flavors know to react with plastic. Has anyone had any experience with this happening with any of T's other flavors? I'd just like to be prepared as it can get a little messy when one breaks. Thanks guys!

I ordered a few of the Stardusts a few weeks ago. I've used the following from Ms T's with no problem:
--Gourmet Vanilla
--Sugar Cookie
--Blondies
--Ms (T)wink's Sponge Cake

I've been following some of the threads for the Stardusts; I really like the product. From what I understand, the company that manufactures them are aware of the problems, and, I believe, there are plans to upgrade the materials that make up the Stardust.

The company I ordered the Stardusts from also have another new type of cartomizer coming out that I'll be looking to try (it's called the Cryptonite 8 Ego cartomizer).
I also use eGo -t Tanks (type B), and I tend to switch between the two.

If any of the flavorings used contain triacein (a variant of VG) as the carrier instead of PG, the poly-carbonate tanks will crack and break. The cracking will begin within an hour of the juice being put in the tank. Juices with triacetin base need to be used in a glass tank like a Phiniac or a metal cartomizer (no plastic tanks). I know some of the companies are working on using new plastics that resist triacetin. In the meantime ask Ms. T (when she is back up and running) if any of the flavors used in those juices contain a triacetin base. It is a known issue in the vaping world. Some flavors need triacetin as the carrier to preserve the flavor and not PG as normally used.
