This is a Shortlist of the dangers of ecigs and their use:

1. Dripping while Driving - probably one of the most abused rules with ecig use
2. Damage to bank accounts - out of control spending on juice and equipment (especially the newly released items) like revised cartos, extended life batteries, great juices - its dangerous and self control is essential!
3. Idleness due to vaping - This one speaks for itself folks , sitting alone at your pc, chatting about this jucie, that model, etc , absolutely abhorant behavior!

What dangers if any, do -YOU- advise against ?

I now see why the FDA considers these things as dangerous! :)

1) dripping and driving: I absolutely agree. I actually prefer to refill emplty crats just because of this reason. I may miss some flavor, but I feel much better knowing that my attention is on the road. Its entirely too easy to get into a car accident, i know. That fact got beaten into me, repeatidly, during my first couple years driving (way back when). I have friends that drip and drive, i still encourage them not to.

Its not hard to keep 1-2 refilled carts around.

2) Damagfe to bank account: HAHAHA oh i know about this. I just recently got into the e-cig scene and i am fighting the urge to order more juices. Been smoke free for 9 days now. I want to give it another week so that the unit, and initial juices i purchased pay for themselves before ordering more.

Lets just say its been tough.

3) The most dangerous!

I am going to add:

4) keeping this away from my wife. Its one thing to share this with other smokers, but she isnt a smoker. I let her try a couple flavors because she was interested in the smells floating around the house. But, then she asked me to try it again. We all know this is how we got hooked on analogs, and i worry that she'll develop a nicotine addiction. So, i cut her off! lol.

Dont get me wrong, i fully explained how a nicotine addiction developes. And that it she very well might not be coming from a sence of curiosity, it might be the nicotine talking. Luckily she uinderstood where i was coming from. Perhaps ill purchase some 0mg stuff for her when she wants to have some.... I dont know though.

5) Driving with the windows down! After years of having only one window open, just barely a half inch, in the car (to ash out of). hehe you guys know the drill. i found myself driving with the windows, and sunroof open! Be careful, i lost some very important paperwork on the highway! BE WARNED! HAHAHAH

6) Being able to smell again might not be all its cracked up to be. MAN, garbage can really stink!

7) Beware of sharing! you dnt know if someone just got off having a cold, or worse. Always keep an empty cart in your pocket for those that are curious. Keep it clean for thier safety. But, doing this has additional advantages. You often find that the atomizer has enough fluid on it to give the experimentor a couple goof drags without even needing to put a direct drip into the PV. (saves you the juice youde need to keep a cart refilled for others.)

Good advice and observations Willriker, you are absolutely right about the car windows thing... isnt it great we no longer need to vent smoke out of the car!
And, if we choose to do so, we can drive with the windows (and roof) wide open, without ashes blowing all over the interior. :)

I think I'll get away from the computer now and go for a ride.

i drip and drive all the time. i just add drops when i'm at a stop light or stop sign. traffic sucks around here so it makes it pretty easy.

I'm the same way, but I always keep a pre-filled cart with me just in case. I haven't had an issue yet, but then again, I'm a decent driver. I kind of have to be with my car being as old and temperamental as it is.

As for the other things, as long as I don't end up spending more money than I would have with cigarettes, I don't mind. As long as I'm riding the edge of breaking even and saving, I'm perfectly content.

I'm having the same issue with my boyfriend as you do with your wife. I smoked about a pack and a half a day and he would always bum one off of me every couple of days, but now that I have this, he just reaches over and grabs it to take a drag off of it all of the time because he likes how it tastes much more. It doesn't bother me as much that he just grabs it and vapes off of it as much as how frequently he is doing it. I told him that if he wanted to vape, then he was going to have to vape some 0mg juice I make for him because I didn't want to be the one to get him hooked on nicotine.

As for sharing with people I don't know, I always keep a spare cart in my case so people can try it out. That way I don't look stingy or like a hypochondriac and they get the experience of trying it so they can decide if they want to try it out on their own.

On the topic of idleness, I don't know about anyone else, but since I have my lung functions coming back in full force, I'm working out. So, if anything, I'm getting more healthy because of vaping. I've been running everynight with my doggie (her name is Happy :D ) and going outside to enjoy the fresh air a lot more than I was before. Back before I had my PV, the only time I went outside was to smoke.

There's my two cents. :p
