The Detonator Version 1

I wanted to build my own box mod for a while now after seeing some of the great creations others have built and so i figured i would start out simple and do a VV Altoids tin mod although i didn't have a Altoids tin i did have a tin kicking around that was the same size. I settled on a twin 14500 version to give me some extra room using a madvapes VV kit and a pair of Trustfires, a Master ON/OFF switch and a display switch. It was great fun to build and only took a few hours to assemble . It vapes just like a champ from 3 to 7 volts.I have parts on order to make a few more although i will be using the OKR T/6 module instead .

Very cool, Rick. I'm impressed. I'm too chicken to play around with anything related to power or batteries (although I did covert a hardwire dryer cable to an outlet ... and was in a cold sweat the entire time even with the entire house's power turned off).

I admit i was a bit nervous when i first put the batteries in although i beeped it out prior to that point and every thing checked out.Im more at ease working with 14/2 wire in panels and plugs than soldering 20 gauge wire to minature parts in such a tight space. The next one i do i will be using the same size tin with double 18650 batteries which will give me less space to work in
