The innovape missle driptips are pretty good. So is the dynasty ones and the cartel drip tips. These are all in the $20-30 price range if you dont mind it. I have spent hundreds of dollars in drip tips but i also do own some fasttech drip tips but never really use them. An advice though, if you want a brass drip tip, make sure its Naval Brass. It is, after all, something that comes in contact with your mouth so I wouldn't risk using the fake Chinese stuff.

I love using the fake Chinese stuff. I suggest you have a look see at my blog post on how to clean brass using a process used by brewers for the last hundred years. It is specifically geared towards removing surface lead from brass. The lead/brass hysteria is starting to get old.

I like the Chaos (clone) drip tip. $2.81 Stainless Steel Chaos Style 510 Drip Tip - engraved with Chinese character at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

It's not perfect, and I spent 15 minutes smoothing the edges with diamond files and sandpaper until it was perfect. The engraving is pretty cool looking and it's become my favorite drip tip to use on my kayfun lite clone.

My metal knowledge is minimal. I'm just stating from the stand point of someone who doesn't have the knowledge you have. To many others, a brass drip tip is just a brass drip tip. Its gold in color and matches their mod and that's it. I'm not trying to argue here, just simply stating my point of view.

On the plus side nobody asked for your opinion now did they! Don't quit your day job...some people think 20 dollars for a drip tip is ridiculous, including myself. In my opinion, my 3 dollar tip does the same thing your 20 dollar tip does...keeps me from smoking analogs.

This is a forum By definition his opinion was asked. Cut the snark.

Why on earth should you apologize?

I'm sure 99% of the population has no metallurgical knowledge. Advising people to buy potentially toxic products, then treat them by some medieval process advocated by a stranger on the interwebz, is completely ridiculous. You're the one making sense, Cloud boy - not some guy who thinks trying not to ingest lead is "hysteria."

Good grief.

That's one way to spin that.

The fact of the matter is that atomizers don't reach a temperature that would melt lead. Also, people don't seem to get overly excited about copper water pipes with lead solder either. Do you eat? then you ingest lead. If you walk down the block in NYC, you probably inhale more lead than you would ever get in a year's vaping with an uncleaned Chinese brass drip tip.

The cleaning procedure outlined in my blog is still in current use, is considered acceptable, and was developed at the turn of the century. If you want to call that medieval, then cars and airplanes should also be considered medieval forms of transport.

Face it, our lungs are coated in radioactive sludge from the cigarettes we smoked. Do you really think that a fraction of a fraction of a percent of lead that we "might" inhale over the course of years from using a brass drip tip or a chrome plated brass atty is an actual health concern? I don't.

This all being said, we are all free to make our own choices. I merely posted one way to ensure that Chinese brass was rendered as safe as naval brass.

Fasttech... Bleh. I would rather pay more to buy from a reputable retailer in the states than to deal with some Chinese crap company.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

In no way could you have thought this was helpful. While everyone has a right to an opinion, sometimes keeping it to yourself is a great option. I have had nothing but great service from Fasttech. In my 6 orders so far. Yes there have been shipping issues but Fasttech is not the shipper and you seem smart enough to know that.

Also try the Stainless Steel Muffler style from FT. I use it and love it.

Some drip tips look cool I guess, but personally, I would never buy any. I still use clearos. For the prices of all these mouthpieces you guys posted, I can buy another full clearo.

Don't get me wrong, If you like them then by all means get them. I just couldn't justify spending the same amount as a full tank and extra coils on a tiny mouthpiece. I've never had a problem with stock tips.

Anyhoo, to each their own. Just my :2c:
