I've tried to quit so many times. I've been smoking for about 11 years. Started dipping Copenhagen when I was about 15. (Only way to stay awake on the planter at the tater farm I worked at as a kid :p) Total use of about 16 years.

I'm so hooked that when I try to quit I puke, get the runs, headaches, sweats and fevers, and other flu symptoms. Not to mention I can't think, and make bad mistakes. I am a 2+ pack a day smoker. The wife and I have to try to quit at the same time, so that causes fights and mood swings. None of that now, though.

Still waiting on my order from China to arrive, the cartridges that I can get here are $18 for 5. So that's not cheaper, but it works. Using the cheaper liquid I did the math.

My wife and I both smoke, therefore we spend about $360 a month on cigarettes! At the end of the first month of using liquid we will break even. If we use the liquid in the rates I have calculated we will spend about $20 a month thereafter, plus hardware replacement.

I find vaping to more pleasurable than smoking :D. Remember those little cherry cigs you could get at the gas station as singles? They banned them. I can have them again.

I can vape in the house. Went to a church function last night, went to the bathroom and vaped. I don't have to feel like the evil smoker any more!! My wife is excited, she's the youth director(not that she wouid let the kids see her do this) and no longer will have to shower before going to any church function or meeting up with certain people. Not that she wouldn't shower normally, but sometimes she has to shower 3-4 x day. We're free!

99% reduction in harm! Within a day my chest felt better. I'll stab someone in the eye if they try to take this away.

We can smoke inside where I work( machine shop ). Imagine trying to quit in that enivironment. There are two other smokers there, they liked it alot(I let them take hits, but asked if they had oral syphiillis first). My boss thought it was the coolest thing. A whole crowd standing around asking questions while I showed how it works, one guy is going to try to get his wife to do it.

I'm going to show this to one of the guys at church, he smokes pretty openly, but you can see the guilt on him.

I'm going to UAH for my mech. engineering degree, stressful. But now, with this and snus I'm good, going to show it to a buddy there.

This is the gretest thing since sliced bread.

Thanks guys.
Here's another benefit: I ran 5 miles/day year round in highschool for the cross country team. I haven't been able to run in a long time. Maybe I'll be able to run again.

cappuccina: thanks, I have class in that building. Weird. We can thank Massachusetts for letting her off the hook so many times.

malyden: yeah, I read about possible withdrawal from the other chems, I have experienced a little of that. Camel snus helps. But it's not bad, right now enthusiasm is overpowering it. I can be in front of others smoking and it doesn't bother me if I have a fresh cartridge.

Congrats - great to hear it is working well for you! I am still amazed at how painless this has been. When I attempted to quit in the past, I had a difficult time being around smokers - I always felt like I was being deprived of something. This time, it feels like they're the ones missing out.
