i was thinking of getting one of those ego-type leather lanyards for my new Echo, but i'm concerned that carrying it upright, combined with the upcoming, warm summer temperatures, might cause liquid to leak into the battery. any thoughts?

(btw, i haven't even received my Echo yet...due to arrive any day now, though!! i feel like an expectant parent :D )

I just purchased a this ultra sonic cleaner for $19 with the 20% off coupon they have going = Ultrasonic Cleaner - Great Deals on Ultrasonic Cleaners at Harbor Freight I think this will clean these very well....!

Please keep us updated on your results, specifically for Echo cartos. I too bought this ultrasonic cleaner a few weeks back. The price is a bargain but I got mixed results depending on the atty/carto. If this cleaner works well on Echo cartos, bingo.

Be aware that this ultrasonic cleaner *will* remove color coating, especially when using PGA. Down here in the hills, Everclear has many uses.

JJ :)

What I have been doing since I enjoy mostly 100% VG juice is I have been pulling 2.7ml's in a syringe of my juice, then pulling .3ml's of PG into the syringe, shake the syringe until all is mixed together then fill my Carto, this makes my all VG juices run just fine with these and I'm not cutting much of my Nic mg or flavor like this and I have no issues with flow anymore, it only takes a little bit of a cut on the 100% VG to make it really work well on anything .!!!

Can someone tell me what makes a PV's LED to come/stay on after setting it down. I have an epuffer cigar that does this (pretty much stays on) and I've stopped using it. However, my Echo did it this morning (didn't stay on) when I took a couple drags and set it down on the table. The LED flashed on and off a couple times on it's own.

i put it honeyville 80pg/20vg juice in the next carto and that one seems to produce less vapor after 2 days. i would be curious if other have been able to use heir echo cartos without any decrease in vapor. it doesnt seem right that after 3 days i would need to clean it. i will keep you posted on what happens the next day or so.

one of the batteries i recieved from cropduster has a 4 sec cut off (or even slightly shorter). its not really a super big deal until the vapor production diminishes and you try take longer drags. all the other ones are 5 seconds (i have 4 batteries).
i know many of you dont inhale until the cut off but for the most part, i do. the 4 sec cut off battery gets sucked to cut off time, every time...the cut-off timer is noticeably shorter...kind of a bugger even tho ill survive.

In earlier posts in some of the Echo forums people were saying these things had no cutoff and were way better than the original "autos" that came out way back. Now I'm starting to hear different as far as they do have a cutoff. I guess just like the Go-Go and others these things have their pros and cons. Kind of disappointed because I was really thinking about getting one of these. I just bought the Echo-E cartos for my Ego and so far so good with those. At first the echo-e cartos were too airy for my liking but I have to say after a few days of using them I am really liking them. The amount of flavor seems to be noticeable to me also. I just wasn't used to all that air being sucked in when I took a drag. The regular and low resistance cartos seem to have a tighter draw to them, in my opinion....

I think they are supposed to have an eight second cutoff. I originally posted they didn't have a cutoff time. I apologize for that. I've never had mine cutoff until after someone posted theirs did and I tried to take a long enough drag to make it cutoff. It did cutoff after about 6 sec for me but it isn't like the old generation autos that you had to wait ten seconds to take another drag, it will refire immediately. They are by far the best auto I've tried!

on the ego i have noticed that the last hour of vaping is very...how should i say it....lame...ish? vapor drop is quite noticeable and overall kind of a blah vape. when the battery is about to die on the echo, same thing happens...but only the last 5 minutes, so i like that part a lot.
checked the cut-off with a stop watch, its 4.2 seconds on one of my batteries.

I just got in two Echo-e cartos from Cropduster and a beautiful stainless GoGo kit from Billb! Very happy at this point with both the vendors and the items. I've been using a true 3.7 Ego with Dual-coil 1.25's and loving it, so this is what i compare both to, using the same tobacco @36mg, 17%vg that I love from Tastyvapors.
Voltages on the Ego and Gogo were at 3.9 noload, ohm rating of both the Echo-e and GoGo carts were 2.7, I plugged the bottom ends, filled via syringe and did a mild taryn spin to settle the juice. I got a bit over 3ml in the GoGo and only 2.5 in the Echo-e. Vaping wise, I find the Echo-e produces slightly more vapor than the GoGo in the beginning, and slightly more than the Dual's on the Ego. The GoGo was too airy for me so I blocked two slots with electricians tape, now it's perfect for me. The Echo-e carto is much quieter than the GoGo and a little quieter than the Ego with DC's. Right now (1 hour later), They all seem to produce about the same vape and I can't tell any difference in taste at this point, but my buds could be fried again too.
None of these produce as much vapor as the little 5v Foxy box mod though! So now I know that 5V is more powerful and produces more vapor than any 3.7 device using any atty/carto on the market (that I've tried).
Bottom line on these; I like and will used them all! I guess the next move is to try some fruit, coffee and cigar flavors on all three and compare.
