I also went down the giantomizer road with bad results. Bluntly, I consider it expensive junk. I tried the latest revision thinking that they might have improved it. I was silly and bought two of them that are now sitting in my junk drawer.

I finally tried my Giantomizer this week after my 2nd Echo-E carto clogged up and have to agree - expensive junk! The tip has come off just in my mouth, never mind every single time I've put it in my pocket.

And don't turn it over, even for a few seconds, you'll get liquid pouring out all over. Also found liquid below the battery connection once and this was after my device had been resting in it's empty coffee cup for a few hours - don't know how or where that liquid came from, but wasn't happy about that either.

A shame because it makes good vapor, taste is good and the carto doesn't get hot which is good. But the problems with the tip and liquid coming out are enough to make me hate it. Leaking is the thing I hate the most and is what drove me from the Ego tank system to the Echo-Es.

I'll stick with my Echo-E cartos - they are lasting about 2-1/2 weeks before clogging which works out to about $.20 a day in costs if you don't clean them, give good vapor and don't get hot to the touch, no matter how much you puff. But most importantly, so far, they don't leak!

Learned an important lesson - if something is working for you, stick with it.

Thanks for letting me know the new ones are not any good either. I was kind of tempted to try them because I did like the concept and the window but I had such a bad experience with the first ones I decided not to. As much as I would like tanks to work for me I'm not buying anymore until they are proven to work without leaking and to wick consistantly without messing with them.
I will stick with my echo 3.4 ml cartos that don't leak and give consistant hits!:vapor:

Here's a trick if your carto is getting hard to draw on. Screw your carto on as far as it will go and then back it off just slightly - about the least amount you can so that it's not quite snug. I read this recently and tried it on an echo-e that was getting hard to draw on and it improved the draw substantially. This apparently works for almost any carto.

Do have the Echo auto or the Echo-e?

Auto. myvaporstore and gotvapes have some 808 CE2 clearos.

I have been through about a dozen Echo cartomizers and my results have been mixed. The majority of them have worked well, but I have yet to have one not taste a little off (compared to Kanger, Boge, etc cartos). I've tried 4 different tips and at least 6 different juice flavors, but there is a weird undertone to all of them. The vapor is good to great and I am neither under filling nor overfilling. What's the deal? Do the atomizers ship with glop on them or is the filler made of something different? (P.S. I am using non-PG juice thinned to PG viscosity, if that has an effect on Echoes differently than other cartos).

I currently only have the fluxomizers (CE2 clearos) from gotvapes. Big fat wicks, no leaks (just don't overfill ofc). Best to use a delrin DT cos the tiny whistle tips are easy to build up condensation in. You can do things like removing the second ring for a better draw or pulling up the inner silicon ring to allow it to wick better. As far as I'm concerned, it works fine without moving up the silicon ring.

Me being paranoid because of tankos, I constantly check for leaks onto the battery and don't see em unless I've overfilled to where there's no air bubble. I like these on the echo :)

New ones have a thicker tube too so it's damn near impossible to slide off... I've tried and not yet succeeded.

I'm sure others have mentioned this but I put some black electrical tape over the bottom airholes in the carto and it improves my enjoyment of the carto IMMENSELY and still looks sharp. The vape is just too airy for me without it.

Also - has anyone tried to remove the LED? Can it be done without damaging the unit?

I have a question for people in this thread who also have the GoGo. Should I stay with the GoGo or does the Echo have some nice advantages or stuff to offer? My charger on my GoGo is starting to act a bit spotty and I was thinking about just buying an echo instead, but wanted to hear some opinions from GoGo users.

Also what's a good site to get the Echo if you recommend it?

I have both and like both of them but I use my echo the most because I love the automatic battery. If you want to stay with a manual battery I would stick with the Go-go. Smoktek has the Echo 1300 for 47.00. He also has a feature to make an offer so you might get it even cheaper. He is a great guy to deal with and cares about his customers. Echo 650-1300mAh Complete Kit
Cropduster also has them in stock and is also a great guy to deal with. Cropduster901!, Home of the B-52

Tx, I too love and prefer the automatics. I have been using the Ego auto 650 for several months with different cartos primarily smokestick cartos as I started vaping with the Smokestick in January and had plenty of cartos. With the Ego automatic and an adaptor (510 to 4081) it was a great step up to vapor production and a step forward. But, the filling of such small cartos took much time.

Then I've been watching and lurking about the Echo automatic, but didn't want to buy another thread type (808). But in the Echo thread I saw mention of the Echo-E cartomizer to fit Egos. Lightbulb! My Ego automatic and Echo-e. Ordered 4 cartomizers from Mtn.Vapor and 4 more from Cropduster. And voila I've got an Ego-E Auto. I have loved it for nearly two months now. And yes the echo-e carts hold up great and do produce just what was needed..big cart, easy fill, fits good, looks good, flavor good and great vapor. I too use the 801 plastic tips from some Leo carts I had around.

Now after reading all your posts, I had to know the difference between my ego auto setup and your echo auto setup. So, I ordered an Echo 650 kit from d&b gold. Very nice, and the LED is big and bright. Overall the setup is very similar with the two 650's except the Echo is a smidge bit taller...probably the light factors in to the length with the cartos appearing to be the same size. Of course I know that the Echo holds more juice, but I still top off about as often. Another difference would be the wait time for charging with the Echo taking twice as long as the Ego. Vaping time has been very similar. Love the vape of both. Love the autos. Just wondering if anyone else has thought about the auto Ego with the Echo-e carto?
