I heard through the grapevine that the new DC echo cartos at Mountain Vapor will be priced at $3.75. They are starting to get into the juice market, but I haven't tried any of it yet. Too bad I didn't find out sooner I was just in the area this last weekend. I may have to wait and get them online in September now.

Mountain Vapor now has the Echo Dual Horizontal Coil but won't be available online until Sept. These new cartos have been in the works for a few months and are supposed to be awesome. MWA a member on here made the first prototype and he told me they really work good. Dennis at Mtn Vapor says they have made other improvements also including a slightly new designed tip and different filler. Mountain Vapor - High quality e-cigarettes, liquids and accessories.

Thanks for the info! Now this is something that I'm looking forward to. I will definitely be trying them and am optimistic they will be great.

Newbe question on the echo 1300.

I filled it up with French M/bouro from totally wicked. It's supposed to taste kinda like an analog with a vanilla twist... But instead it kinda tastes like... Beer... Could that be the poly or whatever coming off the atomizer? Will it fade away in a few days? Or could totally wicked have sent me a mis labeled bottle?

Any input is welcome and appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!

It is hard to say but many juices don't taste like others describe them. Some taste and smell just like you think they should and others don't so if it is your first time with that juice I would think it is the juice. I guess this is your only PV and carto and filling them with 3 ml of juice if you don't like it can be a bummer. I would suggest getting some small 808-d cartos or better yet get a 901 atty and you can drip a few drops on the atty for testing. I don't know where you got your Echo but Cropduster has 901 attys that work on the Echo. Cropduster901!, Home of the B-52

Polyfill doesn't have a taste nor does it leach a flavor into the juice. But the truth about taste is that One man's Bavarian Creame is another man's Chilean Guano.

Testing a new juice in any new carto type is probably not the best idea just because you're not sure how it's supposed to taste. Also if you just received that juice from TW you should probably let it steep for a week or at least a few days. See if you have a date stamp on the juice and more than likely that's when it was mixed.

I'm hearing they are amazing. I guess we will have to name them ehdcc to distinguish the difference between them and the emdcc. They will be the first horiz dual coil cartos on the market and I'm excited to try one.

How about DCE?

Are they still a horiz coil design and can the filler be removed for cleaning if a person prefers that cleaning method? There are lots of vertical dual coil cartos on the market but the filler can't be removed for cleaning or rebuilding. If they are horiz design I think that should be included in the description so people will know there is a difference but that is just my opinion.:2cool:

Yes to all the above. Picture the DCE like the original, but with 2 coils (that are bigger than the original) rather than 1. They are separated by 1/2 inch. I can't tell you how easy they are to clean by removing the filler because I have not done that. I don't clean mine by removing the filler.

Does the DCE have the same physical profile as the original? The nice elegant cone shape? I hope so because the original echo in chrome is a nice looking unit with any color battery.
