Found this at a Canadian site an Ego booster . Boosts an ego from 3.3 to 4.7 volts . Who wants to be the quinnie pig and try it out for us .

Looks like a adapter housing a booster circuit. Says you adjust to 4.7v buy turning a dial. Kinda leads one to believe it's variable volt from 3.3 to 4.7 if it's using dial but doesn't specify, just states the deal is used to get it to 4.7.

Anyway for $85.00 maybe someone else will try it but not me. You could get 2 vv box mods from madvapes for that or 1 of several other variable volt mods which would have more range and components more capable of handling it.

It should work but using the same battery at higher voltage with the same equipment you're going to decrease battery life.

Wow...please correct me if im wrong, but, unless Ego's are built with High Drain batteries...this is going to kill/drain them pretty quick, esp people trying to use LR atty's and cartos.

GV said they're coming out with a vv ego soon anyways so I wouldn't waste my money on an adapter that costs more than my starter kit was.

that does look good but i think it is over priced for what it is. like others have said you can about get a VV for that and have a wider range. i would like to try it though.

Can this be used with a e-power?

The new e-power switch coming out will allow stacking battery's for a regulated 5 volts, or 1 battery automatically switch between either mode.

with e-power just replace switch, have a backup,,always a good thing to have.

I applaud the innovation. However, for the money, I'd save a little extra coin and get a MOD. Still, I think it cool!
