Another ego almost goes up in flames today.
But this time was from idiocy I have to admit.
I have 2 ego c-twists that I've had since December. My boyfriend uses one, I use one, it works. He took one to work with him as usual and comes home smelling like soot and says "well we only have one battery now"
Apparently he left it in his back pocket and it began to heat up. It became extremely hot and began to smoke. Eventually it shorted out and turned off, but continued to smoke for a minute or so.
He says he didn't use the 5 click turn off feature, I'm assume he was sitting on it and was continuously hitting the button. He says that is very possible. I've told him multiple times to be safe with these batteries and not to abuse them, as they can be a hazard. Maybe this time he'll listen.
Lesson learned, don't leave your e-cig on in your back pocket, turn it off.
