I think I'm done searching.

As I stated in a recent post, the guy at my B&G told me not to switch to drippy's or I'd never use my genny's again.

Well, he was right.

I just bought an IGO-W, and... well... wow. Like... wow.

I've never tasted flavor remotely close to this. The vape is not quite as thick as my RSST, but I'm on low battery, so...

Anyway, went ahead and bought a Reo Grand, 12' of Ekowool, and a couple more 18650's.

I think this is it, ladies and gentlemen.

I think I've found God.

Vapor God.

He's... mysterious.

Hooray!

Welcome to Reoville.
You have got to get a RM2 (http://www.reosmods.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=32&Itemid=3) for the Grand. and Check out the build of it(How To Make A Perfect Micro Coil With The Darkzero Coil Jig - YouTube).

Sounds like you may be at risk of being a cloud chaser :)

Beware of the cloud side. Vapor, flavor, throat hit; the cloud side of Vaping are they. Easily they flow, quick to join you in a nic fit. If once you start down the cloud path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will.

There must be something wrong with me.

I've heard so much about dripping that I decided I wanted to try it. Got an igo-L. In the reviews I saw, most people commented that the (single) air hole was too small and needed to be drilled out but the one I got is waaayyyyy to airy. Since I'm inhaling so much air, the flavor is minimal and the whole experience has been disappointing.

Or maybe I'm doing something wrong. But I don't see what - it's not like these things are super-complicated.

Sounds like you are not making a hot enough coil the reason for drilling out the air hole is to give more air to lower resistance coil. Try wrapping a 1 ohm or a little above coil something like 4 or 5 wraps with 28 gauge.

Make sure that air hole is positioned right next to the coil and draw more slowly.

I'm not a lung hitter either. I'm always cautious about too much air because although I can drill a hole larger i can't make one smaller.

One thing besides the recommendation to make a hotter coil (which is a good one) would be to adjust your wicking. I'm not sure exactly why but playing around with the cotton can make it seem a little less airy sometimes. A lung hitter's setup is always way too airy for me, the stock W is too tight, the stock L and T is just about right for me though so I don't know. I use a horizontal micro coil sitting on cotton, maybe put the coil closer to the hole wiff a bit more cotton built up under it for the air to run into... try a W with a single coil also, it has two holes but a tighter draw. Wicking setup with a hotter coil should help with the hotter coil being the most important thing.
