I know this thing is getting alot of bad press due to the stacked battery thing, but i want to give my quick impressions.

I am in love with this thing. It is a beautiful mod. My LT is collecting dust since if got it. I have pretty much been using my DCTs on it for the most part as i don't have any SR carts but this thing absolutley RIPS on a DCT.

As soon as i saw Mindfields mod (using the bottom cap as the battery compartment) I went out to "The Source" and bought a battery holder (I do not have a silver bullet to cannibalize) took the spring from it and it works great. I know have a blow off cap and a large vent hole, and it still looks sweet. I am sure to charge the batteries individually not in series.

Anyways i just though someone should speak up for this little beauty! I am seriously thinking about getting another just so i don't have to switch tanks when i want a new flavor lol.

I would like to hear your comments on the EVO from owners or just people that are curious about it!

Did i mention it looks good? I am all about that~

Post pictures. I'd be interested to see what it looks like with your mod and such.

Sure! I dont know where the original battery cap is but here is the current set up.......with the Lavatube in the background for reference size, although on second thought the perspective is not correct, anyways

Indeed, glad you're enjoying it. I'm okay with the stacked battery thing, as long as it has proper venting. (I've got my SB stacked right now with a 2.8ohm DCT and it vapes like a champ, and I know its venting works properly.) Hence the reason for my hot spring/cap mod. I'm not satisfied with blow-off caps as a proper solution to venting, that's still dangerous and may not work 100%. With the mod though I'm quite confident that if the batteries do go into thermal runaway it'll be able to vent the gasses without a problem.

I really prefer using the EVO with 1.5ohm or 2.0ohm DCTs though, because I can push them higher than my other single-battery VV mods and still have some control over voltage. I'm going to send my ProVari in for an upgrade to v2 though, which should let me do the same with finer control.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

Just got my EVO V2 today and man, it is amazingly amazing! Nice, solid unit that looks very fine and vapes even finer. I had no idea there was so much more flavour to be had at higher volts. (simulated but very nice) And clouds of vapour! My 100% VG stuff vapes like honey... Man, I am in heaven. Juggies Jokesmoke is like the finest silk with this thing. What a magnificently distinctive taste!

It's just something else how this thing called vape keeps getting better and better...

I am a bit surprised that a charge didn't last me all day. I took the batts out of the charger this morning and they just ran out a few minutes ago. 15 hours isn't bad mind you. I guess I am also a vape fiend so I shouldn't be too surprised. I am already missing it terribly! :D

a must have
You guys got that right! Pegged them to my next order. But 15 hours is amazing considering how much I vape now. I am thinking I might even get another EVO. :D I get the distinct feeling I will be swimming in gadgets soon. Who cares though, right? I can easily spend $200 on one night at the pub, and these things stick around way longer than the inevitable hangover.
