How does the switch work, did it come with a N.O. type switch that needed to be held down for the lights to works, or was it an On/Off clicky switch. and did you change the switch out?

I am not 100% sure I just replaced it with a new one (6mmx6mmx5mm Through hole). It was a 2 or 3 mode led light and I think the tact that was there was a N.O. type, the momentary feature activated a controller for the different mods I definitely wasn't an on/off switch, I never tested it I just replaced it.

Hey everyone,,

I found this cool looking LED book light and thought it would make a nice stylish box mod. I found it on E-bay for $4.70 free shipping from the Cal. Ultra Bright 3 LED 3 Mode Reading Book Clip Light - eBay (item 350223907780 end time Aug-07-09 19:47:12 PDT)

The atty is inserted where the led flex cable was, reconfigured the battery springs to run 3 104440's in parallel with a total of 1500mAh.

I am already working on the "Double barrel version" removing the tact button and installing a side tact switch and 2 510 or 901 attys. Maybe even sending the power to the 2 attys with the 3 batterys in serial...

For some reason I don't have anymore upload space so DaMulta has posted the pics for me a few posts down.

Thanks DaMulta

Cheers

Hey Cisco, i just got one of those in my mailbox and i am wondering if you even considered installing the atty connector on the flexible arm instead of the box itself.
Please let me know if you did, and if you didn't, do you think it is feasible?
Just help me save sometime destroying the LED casing for no reason since you already went through it.
I think it might be fun to do it that way, + it will be a copycat with variation.

Thanks

Nevermind, this is so funny, as soon as i posted my question, i was looking at the LED casing pulled just a little on it and off it went, so the answer to my own question is yes it can be done. :D

I wonder cases like these could also be modded? I just found these cases, except what I was really looking for is for cases to carry my batteries and supplies with :
