So, I've been vaping for two months now and I can't help but notice this "strange" head feeling that comes from it. I did a search on the forum and found several names for this, including "foggy", spacey, heavy, reeling, stuffy and more.. I have read that this is attributed to too much nic, but the only way to avoid this for me is to vape about once every two hours or more(which I'm rarely able to do :p). I'm not even using a strong e-juice, most of the time I vape 16 or 8 mg. Has anyone else experienced this and could it be caused by something other than nicotine?

Yes i must admit in the three weeks since i been vaping i've gone through a headache phase (about 10 days) and i do occasionally get a "foggy" head. I only vape about three good chuggs at a time now. This has happened totally naturally. I seem to be settling into a rythym that has me toking about three maybe four tokes every 20 mins/half hour. It has helped with everything. This is how i vape. I haven't aimed to vape this way. this is where my vaping has evolved to. And i have no symptoms of anything now.
Perhaps this will happen to you when you vape in a way that is unconscieously right for you.
I vape 24mg nicotine in a tobacco flavour. I don't vape too deep because the throat hit can be too ,much. So i try and draw light and not too long. Then my hit and nic intake is just about right for me. Couple of more weeks and i'll reduce the nic to 18 mg. I'll probably have to chugg harder at first to make up for te reduced nic. But the i'll be looking, after a couple of weeks, to lighten my tokes. and so on ...and so on....
I think your body adjusts to how you vape. Give it time. (unless it's overwhelming headache then get it checked out).
AS long as your off of analogs and your getting enough nic to keep you calm then you're winning.
I hope you work this out. And i wish you every success.

I have found I can over-nic myself on any level of nicotine if I vape too much. And headache and foggy are not he worst thing that can happen - it can mess with your blood pressure and cause rapid or irregular heartbeats.

You need to either vape less or vape lower nic. Have you tried 12mg instead of the 16mg? And I don't let myself vape constantly. At home I leave the ecigs in another room unless I will be stuck in one other part of the house or outside for a while and then I bring one with me. At work they are on my desk but I set them down. Now I even carry a couple of zero nic cartos with me so if I am vaping a lot I can pop that on and not get over-nicced.
