Bright shiny doesn't photograph well (for crummy photogs like me). Here's a few pics:
The connector, control ring, and tank have a bark or diamond bark finish. I thought about putting the same finish on the tank lid and mouthpiece lid, but it's a brand new part (thanks again to Imeo) so I'm leaving it like it is.
The icing on the cake is the laser engraved name and logo.
Hidden, but it's the best work of the build. Atavanhalen sent me a stripped out connector so I made a new 510 and put it inside an 801 and then the tough part of attaching it to the base. It had to be perfectly placed so the atty is vertical; otherwise it wont' fit in the end cap on the collector tank.
FrankenGG #2 is on it's way so I'll put the alum telescope tube from it in #1, make an alum button/switch, and then everything is "silver".
Can't really express just how much I enjoyed doing this project; it was great fun. Again, thanks to some great friends who helped make it possible.
