The Fusion Tank!

I tried the MAP tank with one of my fusion cartomizers, I did it how 5cardstud did with a cut drip tip etc. It leaked through the battery end, any ideas on why it did this? I have a tank from Vaporescence I'm going to try it in there and hopefully have no leaks we'll see. Would love to put my MAP back in action if anyone knows how to stop it from leaking.

Well if it's leaking through the battery end it's probably because the other end is leaking air. Mine fit so tight I had to press it in with the vice. But with the 808 mega I don't think you will have to use the extension. I know when I tear mine apart to put another carto in it I will probably spring a leak so I'm going with the Mega 808 or the Mega 510. They put out all most the same vapor as a Fusion in those tanks.

I've been using this Mega 808 in my other tank and I like it so well it's all I use. I have run over 30ml. of juice through it and it's still vaping like a Fusion.

Okay, I redid My Fusion/Map tank because of a discuission I had with another member. It would have eventually leaked with that extension after changing cartos in it so I took Debbs advice and enlarged the bottom hole about the depth of the Fusion base. Then I took about a quarter in. off the tank. Now there are no seams, no leaks and it is working great. I really like this tank. I still got my 808 tank too. Oh I also added a filling port, threaded the hole and put a stainless screw to plug it and no leaks there either. I love this tank.

It is a self tapping machined screw. It fits tight against the tank but it seals before it gets there because of the threads being so fine. I was going to add a rubber washer but didn't need one.

I hope its appropriate... jonboyusmc tanks (here on the forum) will take a ce2, fusion, regular or mega carto and are unbelievably well made. I have 3 of his ce2 tanks & have a carto tank on the way. His craftsmanship & use of quality material really set these apart. Check them out.
